Böker's tree emblem is a Chestnut tree. You can find that info on the history of Böker knives.

I bought that exact same knife, the old look also is what drew me to buying it and being a stone washed spear point was a win , enjoy your knife as I do , Thanks for sharing

I love these Böker knives but they are expensive enough without the fancy boxes, bags, and zipper pouchs. I wish they would stop with the extra stuff and lower the price a bit.

That indeed is a nice Barlow. In defense of their Chinese made knives, however, I picked up Böker Plus last year, the Atlas model in all stainless steel. I can't speak for all the factories that they subcontract, but this model was made by SRM and it is a quality made knife, like most SRM's, and with a very reasonable price. Razor sharp. Solingen made knives had had their day, day, but I hear from many sources that it is no longer the case.

Interesting, the majority of experiences I have had with Böker Solingen have been great. Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed your Böker Plus! Sounds like their quality is improving. Cheers!

Where did you get it I just sent an expedition model back with very bad pitting in the back ?
@TheStreamingEnderman2 жыл бұрын
I got it at Warriors and Wonders/Blades Canada. Also, what does pitting mean?

That’s who I dealt with I’ll try the big oak model and hope for a good one

The back strap joint between the liner and blade had a small indent flaw right on the back at the bolster end it looked like a pin head size dent or hole

Ah, I see.

@@TheStreamingEnderman I ordered the bogg oak after seeing yours I love the expedition model but this is also very sweet with the acid wash blade and ancient oak. Hope I get a good one this time from Warriors.
