Peyton is doing really great, looks very professional ! People put a lot of salt to preserve food, that's why there are overloaded sodium, and that's why you need to soak it in the water for a while before you cooking it. By the way.... try to buy high quality pickled radish made in Taiwan(at least I know Taiwan government will check it often), because some from "other country" will contain Preservatives, formaldehyde, hydrogen peroxide, sulfur dioxide....

Not a Taiwanese but as a Malaysian, we have similar dishes and restaurant in Malaysia, these are not regular home cook meals so I think Peyton did a great job as this is his first time and prepared just following recipe, well done👍
Peyton literally cooked Taiwanese cuisine! It’s really astonishing to see American making such authentic and local dishes, he indeed did a great job👍🏻! We’ll look forward to seeing these series! ❤️
Actually, when we cook golden tofu, we don't put any salty white egg into this dish. I think only salty yolk in it will be more delicious. You can try it next time, maybe you all will love it. However, Peyton did super well!!! You cook better than most of the people in Taiwan! 👏🏻 太厲害了!!!!!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Peyton is actually a better chief than half of the Taiwanese. Very well done. Sometimes the difference of flavor does not lie in the skills but the ingredients we can only get locally. That was the best outcome possible!

Peyton is totally a Taiwanese when he cook. I can't even tell the difference between his food and the professional chef of the stir-fried restaurant. love you guys so much. Wish you all the best.

It's amazing that Payton can make all these successfully in his first try. Those dishes do look good 😊. Respect!!
Shao-panzi did a wonderful job as this would be his first attempt. They all look fairly similar to the ones we get here. The quai-chao shops can serve food faster because they do all the preps beforehand and with special stove with super high heat when cooking. Not many people have that kind of stoves at home though. Great team work,👍👍includes Adam’s cleaning up of course.

basically, most of the traditional family will make their own dumplings during the lunar new year's eve dinner. that is a lot of work but is really fun!!

As a Taiwanese, I can’t be as good as Peyton. I really want to continue to challenge Taiwanese cuisine after watching Peyton. Peyton’s dishes feel delicious.

P is super smart and always has a great sense of humor!! Pls tell him I LOVE him and I’d like to see him more :)
