রাজধানীর বাংলাবাজার এলাকায় এই দোকানটিতে ঢুকলেই নতুন ঘড়ির পাশাপাশি চোখ পড়বে পুরানো ঘড়ির ওপর। এগুলোর একেকটির বয়স একশো থেকে দুইশো বছরের বেশি। চাবি দিলে এখনো চলে ঘড়িগুলো। নতুন কিংবা পুরানো-যেকোনো ঘড়ির জটিল সমস্যার সমাধান পাওয়া যায় একশো বছরের পুরানো এই দোকানটিতে। তাই লোকমুখে একে বলা হয় ঘড়ির হাসাপাতাল।

প্রতারনা করছে আমার সাথে এই দোকানে খুবই দুঃখজনক এই দোকানে গিয়েছিলাম এই ভিডিও দেখে ঘড়ি ঠিক করতে ৭০০ টাকা চাইছে ঘড়ির পুরো ডায়াল বলে চেন্জ করতে হবে যেটা পরে আমি কুমিল্লা থেকে ১০০ টাকা দিয়ে শুধু ব্যাটারি চেন্জ করছি ঘড়ি ঠিক হয়ে গেছে

Interesting. But reporters should research before any reports. The ship clock he showed is no way 200 years old or made in Japan . It's an old soviet Neal clock. May be manufactured for submarine use. Most probably 50 years old. Because later models use electric clocks. But it's good to see they service automatic and mechanical watches and clocks. Though they don't have good tools and a clean work environment. The workmanship is a bit crude for a good quality watch. And new watches need different types of lube and oils for different parts. I hope new training and equipment can salvage their business. Best wishes.
