In order to meet the demand, Bangladesh's furniture sector has evolved by focusing on the changing preferences and wants of customers. According to a report in The Business Standard, the country's furniture business is generating more than BDT 10,000 crore in revenue each year. After fulfilling local demand, manufacturers are now exporting furniture to foreign countries as well. This has opened up new opportunities for Bangladesh's export market.
