I so much loved the Alexandria Sanctuary Choir in those days. The directors were so talented. This church choir has always been talented and powerful over all the years. I'm glad you've posted these videos. I've searched a long time for them. Thanks so much.

I loved this when I was 15. Now I cringe.. this music hooked me back in the day. so embarrassing. We went for the music, then endured the preaching- couldn't wait for him ('cause it was ALWAYS an old white guy whom was having some kind of affair on the side) to finish to hit Denny's or Steak and Shake or whatever place was open late on a Sunday (forget a decent tip for the wait staff, even though we TORE THAT SHIT UP), while trying to keep our arms down because of the pit-stains. Those were the days... egad

I am very sorry you feel the way you do having grown up in the church. If good music is all you got out of it, then you've wasted your time. Sir, I pray you find a true relationship with Christ someday soon.

@@musicmaker85 I saw one hell of a lot of sexual abuse, perversion, embezzlement, and general abuse and fraud. . If there's a God, he's an asshole. But at least I became a jazz musician out of it.

@@dgboggs I feel for you. There is a God and He loves you. People will fail you. But Jesus and His love and mercy never will. The choice though is yours and choices have consequences. I'm not judging you, that is not my place. I guess I just want you to know He loves you and I will be praying for you.
