That stuff looks quite up scale, and super handy. Thank you for giving us all these great reviews out of your own pocket. Even though we are planning on sheltering in place, IN THE EVENT WE MUST BUG OUT, we have dedicated a 73 Chevy service truck with boxes, winches and cranes, it still has points and condenser, no electronics anywhere. Have a back up alternator in the faraday can. That should guarantee having a vehicle in the event of CME, or EMP. sure hope it dosent come to that, it gets about 10 mpg , but the power inverters will be Really handy.

One comment on all this “Bug Out” movement. Where is everybody going to go. It doesn’t take to long to realize that it wouldn’t take too long before all the resources of the land would be used up if everybody bugged out. The back to the country and an agricultural economy needs to be made now. Our populations are centered in the cities and only relatively small areas of our farmland is being used to support this population. A population that is already living in the country and agriculturally based would be harder for an envading army to takeover.

I see what you’re saying, but honestly and sadly, a ton of folks are not gonna cut the mustard or make it out in time. Never mind the physical and emotional toll Bugging out will take, the mental weight of what’s happening will be the hardest to handle for most, especially those with kids. Idk what you believe, but if things go down in a biblical fashion, there will be no need to worry about how many folks will bug out. Anywho, good thread.

The Smittybuilt gear is sweet! Out of my price range though, at least at the moment. I just picked up a set of military surplus molle panels that were intended for the back of Hummer seats. They come with one dump pouch only but are WAY cheaper. Check out Coleman's surplus for my fellow poor folks, LoL! Also, the first pouch that you mentioned ( the phone sized one), I'm wearing an identical one in O.D. right now, bought from Amazon for around 10.00$ on sale. Great pouch, I use it for my E.D.C. gear. I hate having my pockets full of crap! Looking forward to more of this series as I'm setting up a new (to me anyway) bov.

Hey Ba. I’m working on a color identification system for all my gear. Something that myself and my family will be able to identify at a glance but not everyone will know. After seeing this setup i thought it would be ideal. Nothing fancy just a red patch standing for X on one bag, a green patch standing for X on another bag so on and so on. Maybe that’s something you would give a thought to. Just saying. Oh and it’s cool you kept the “in God we trust” patch. That made my day

Be neat to have a stirling hot gas engine electrical power generator that you just gave it a few hand cranks to gets it started. A V-6 hot gas stirling engine with two fly wheels cranking two rewired drum motor generators with magnetic bearings and vacuum spark gaps to produce high frequency electricity. Use skill saw buzz kill antivibration technology in the build to reduce the engines vibration and improving its performance and using high heat magnetic bearings for a whisper quiet power generation system that you could also set up to provide a heat source to keep warm has well has pumping out juice? Could even design a two cylinder hot gas engine to act has a whisper quiet space heater. Purdy cool technology. Some ideas for a tech individual in your group. 😊

Hydraulic split power system operated off a hybrid stirling hot gas engine. Swash plate pump motors in an axial vector configuration for low torque and swash plate pump motor middle crusing speed and swash plate type 12 for high speed with planetary and sun gearing system for a vehicle that has no need of fuel. Designed to operate off a graphite lubercant rather then a patrolium based lubercant for all the gearing systems. Craxy ideas for a SHTF event for alternative vehicle solutions. 😊
