The only reason why CID was a success for 20 years, was because of B.P. Singh’s determination and hard-work, right cast, belief in Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Shrivastav, good timing of certain dialogues, and ensuring no vulgarity. Everything has been clean. That made CID iconic. Sad that SONY TV poisoned the show by pathetic tactics to make way for some cheap reality and daily soap trash.
