Shalu, who is selling tea together, goes inside the house and after giving medicine to her ailing father Manohar, comes back and serves tea to people along with her mother from morning till evening.

And she lived in a small hut with her husband Manohar. Manohar used to work as a laborer in a factory, but one day suddenly Manohar faints while working. On being taken to the hospital, everyone comes to know that one of Manohar's kidneys has been damaged. Due to which there has been a lot of weakness in his body and he cannot do any hard labor work. After this condition of Manohar, now all the responsibilities of the house had fallen on Rekha, hence due to the rainy season, Rekha went outside her house. She used to work as a tea seller with her daughter.
Manohar: Rekha I don't think we should stay here any longer, these walls can collapse any time.
Rekha: So where will we go, we have no one here
