Most platforms have an OOB safety sear in front to prevent this sort of scenario. Assuming it was a literal OOB, and not an overpressure, case failure, separation, or something else. Systems that rely on the FP being occluded by the bolt tail are prone to dimensional intolerance, like Pre-Gen3.5 AR57. Ian McCollum of Forgotten Weapons, Buffman had video taped YT OOB incidents. The only systems that I trust now are not direct blowback. They're CMMG RDB (AR15 physical FP lockout due to bolt rotation) and PS90 (with actual OOB block). CZ Scorpion Evo civilian PCC was nerfed, had that OOB block removed as manufacturer paranoia, leading to vast incidents of OOB with it. (Unless that aftermarket FPB is used.) Glad you're safe, were wearing eye and ear pro. Let us know how B&T responds in a short followup tabletop video. Would be interesting to note.

Still haven't ruled out ammo, but I've had very good luck with speer gold dot in the past. All things are possible. So B&T has been very responsive. It's on its way back to them now. I do have the APC10 that I'm currently testing and it's been trouble free. Bit more of a charge there if things go wrong. I'll report back when they have a diagnosis.

Since it happened on the 2nd shot of a rapid double-tap, I'd strongly suspect bolt bounce. Does the APC have deadblow weights in the bolt or buffer system? This can happen with blowback guns that do not have deadblow weights in the buffer or bolt, but only during rapid fire, and only after the first shot.

These have a hydraulic buffer (think kynshot but fixed I to the back plate) and a recoil spring.

Appears the support hand fingers may be contacting the mag bar/release. Try a c clamp style support and see if it replicates. I'm a lefty, and when supporting near the magwell my apc10 has oob issues.

I'll have to double check. I shot my APC10 right before. No issues minus the crappy kriss extensions getting the follower stuck.

If not an ammunition problem it could be the pressure you're putting on the magazine when using it as a vertical grip
