I suppose between this and the Austrian steyr sp9 will be the closest we'll get to owning an h&k mp7 here in the u.s., for now anyway, regardless, I would love to have this in my collection and the other b&t firearms. They seem to be high quality firearms, which they should for the price. But I digress, do you have a video of you firing the gun ? Not going to lie, but I'm envious of you, remarkable gun.

Seems like a really big bolt for a gun that has a delayed recoil system with the rotating barrel. The bolt looks big an heavy enough to be on a straight blowback system.

Well Steyr was the designer of the original gun, not B&T. They didnt choose the rotating barrel system to simplify things but to decrease the mass of the bolt and reduce recoil and wear to the entire gun compared to a straight blowback design like an Uzi or a Mac 10.

I’ve got mine stuck in the position 2:25 the bolt and barrel are in the lower receiver I can’t place the top back on?

Probably too late, but in case anyone else is reading this with the same issue, pull down on the takedown latch and push the bolt forward. That should clear the bolt from the rails. Then push the takedown tab above the barrel and the whole assembly should lift right off.

Why not make a smg with a Browning tilting barell and SIG style locking? It looks like it would be easier and cheaper to make.

It's the civilian version of the B&T MP9, which is the updated model of the Steyr TMP. The MP7 is a different gun with a different system and caliber.

If you want a semi auto MP9 badly enough to drop the money, then its worth it. If not then it's not worth it. Simple as that.
