​@@KUD6174That's a myth..! It depends on a woman's personal nature to support or not. We have one experience in our family where there is no dowry or any gifts taken from girls family. She is wild and completely spoiled her in laws family who are innocent humans ..she did not allow her husband to meet or do anything to them for last 20 years..last week boys father died and she did not allow dead body to come into house .. Now you can tell..there is no dowry,no harrassment,complete freedom to her..she is from poor background ,still she does this distruction to the complete family.. Do you still generalize that if we don't take dowry..girls will support ? It depends on human mindset and their back ground on how to conduct themselves and support their family..It applies to both men and women.
