@@spitfire8616 Hey, it takes a bit to learn to read without help. Even just an hour a week is still something. I didn't even learn to read the marks the first year I was learning. But I wouldn't say I wasn't learning. At that point I was more focused on grammar then anything. Who's to say they weren't learning structure first and just started on reading the hirigana. And if they could read that much, it's probably an accomplishment for them, no need to ruin it ^^
