This deck is sick. Your card counting technique is surprisingly easy

I honestly didn't believe I'd even like Ace when the 3 Brothers were first announced and never even really planned to play him. Originally, Sabo was the one I was most excited for and felt (and still feel) the Luffy has been way over hyped and isn't as bad as many make him out to be. Not to mention just far too linear for my personal tastes. But in the spirit of testing all 3 so I could understand them better, I decided I'd just play a game or 2 with Ace to see just how badly he really sucked lol. But I was SHOCKED at how quickly I fell in love with this leader's playstyle! And I genuinely believe with every fiber of my being that people are seriously sleeping on this leader and its actual strength. Maybe I'm just huffing too much copium or something but I can't shake the belief that Ace is objectively the best leader out of the 3 and I just feel like most people have been playing his deck all wrong! Except I stumbled on this video and your philosophy with and belief in this leader perfectly aligned with what I was thinking about him, which made me feel like maybe this initial impression I had actually had at least SOME merit to it. And now I'm determined to try to prove to everybody what Ace is capable of in the upcoming Treasure Cups! Lol When I first saw your explanation for how to keep track of what you were bottom decking, I'll be honest, I was confused as hell! LOL But now after hearing you really explain it out a bit better, at first it was still going over my head like wtf is he talking about? Lol but I believe it FINALLY clicked for me what you're talking about! For some reason I was thinking you were remembering the specific order of the cards you bottom decked and exactly how many cards before each individual one, and I just kept thinking like is he like an idiot savant or something? Lol but I think what you're saying is the first number you keep track of is purely to let you know when you've finally reached the point of cycling back thru for the second time. And the initials you're keeping track of is so you know WHAT exactly has been put down there, but not necessarily exactly where each brother was put in relation to each other or any super complex thing like that. And with that in mind, I think I could totally do that myself and I appreciate that technique SO much!

Awesome video, thanks heaps for the content. I love the puddings but found I whiffed completely on 5 drops with my leader ability too much for my liking, and a total whiff was the turn I either lost the game or was put into an unwinnable position. Ended up replacing them with Satori's, not for the trigger but just to increase the 5 cost targets for the leader and the 2k counters. Do you find you whiff completely with the leader ability with your list much?

Cool guide, cant wait to try it! What do you recommend for starting hands/mulligans

Against B/Y Luffy I will mull for pudding, otherwise I am usually looking for at least 2 in combination of 2c brothers and pilaf.

Love this list. Any guide on what to do when forced to go first? Just same plan but a turn later?
@ReillyTCG2 ай бұрын
yeah, same strategies, I just value pilaf more for my mulligan. Optimally your curve is: t1: garp t2: pilaf t3: lead ability + 2c -> 5c combo t4: pilaf + lead ability + 2c -> 5c combo t5: 5c Ace + lead ability + 2c -> 5c combo

thoughts about 3c blue doflamingo or the 2c blue blocker from the zoro sanji deck in this deck?
@ReillyTCG2 ай бұрын
If I were playing a stacker my first choice would probably be X. Drake because its 5c synergizes with your leader. You could take out the shirahoshis and searcher event for 3 copies. I choose those cards instead because they replace themselves and allow me to maintain a large hand size, shirahoshi also increases the value you can get from playing viola.

Hi! Nice deck really but i dont have de Hiyori's and the viola's, what could i use to replace thoa cards?
@ReillyTCG2 ай бұрын
you could replace hiyori with satori or blue tsuru, and viola could become blue x.drake. Satori/tsuru are also 2ks and their 5c combos with leader effect. X.drake also combos with leader effect due to its cost and on 9+ DON!! you can use it to confirm a successful leader ability and establish a blocker.

@@ReillyTCGooh thaks, for the advice, and i do have those cards to try out❤. I been using makino"s for the hiyori and 2 cost sanji's. It work really well i must say.

Is it not better to play only too brothers and duplicate the big ones? Like OP07 Ace Blocker or Yellow Egghead Luffy.
@ReillyTCG2 ай бұрын
this is only an eb01 deck.
@Yuri144Shambles2 ай бұрын
it is not, in op07 you have great consistency thats why you finally give up the sabo and play the new versions of the 5 blocker ace and egghead luffy, here in eb01 and op06 you dont have that much consistency, thats why you are playing sabo in the first place, you can just hope you draw into kid versions and get grown up versions when using your leader ability.

thoughts on satori over yamato? free 5k body off life
@ReillyTCG2 ай бұрын
I would only trigger Satori on the turn prior to going for game. Satori essentially gives your hand a -2 when triggered and gives your opponent an easy target to swing at when your leader is a 7k. But most of the time both Yamato and Satori will just be a 2k, so it doesn’t really matter. I just find Yamato’s utilizations a little more worthwhile.

I have been getting into one piece and trying to build this deck…. But I will say nothing more disappointing than seeing a proxy for something that hasn’t released.. which just shows me this deck isn’t tournament ready.

Sadly Enel will be a rly difficult mu 😢
@ReillyTCG2 ай бұрын
I started testing against enel last night and it felt pretty even. You can rearrange their life early game with viola and put a non-trigger to the bottom. Enel will take life in order to reach their leader ability and then you can pudding them. Between setting their last life and using pudding you put yourself into a very winnable position.
