Actual difference: Vocaloid is a singing program that you have to pay for (easier to make a quality sound) and Utau is a free singing program (Harder to get a realistic sound, but has an option to make your own Utau)

Not that UTAUloid is better, it can't (yet at least) be, as it isn't a software sold so financiated by users, meaning they can't do something as complex as Vocaloid. But even so, there are some voicebanks of UTAUloid, mostly Vipperloids, that are nearly at the same level of Vocaloid's voicebanks. I love both equally, but I have my own opinion, like anyone o-o Not trying to say bad things about anything or anyone. Just saying what I think (Y)

Yes Teto sounds so human like, are you serious. I've heard really bad unrealistic Ritsu, and there are plenty of vocaloids who are marketed because of their robotic-esque voices. Example - SF-A2 Miki.It depends on the user, it almost has nothing to do with the software itself.

Ok. Vocaloids are made with the program 'Vocaloid'. Utauloids are made with the program 'UTAU'. Vocaloids are professionally done so as a whole, they tend to have a better overall quality. Utau is a free program, so anyone can make a voice bank, so you tend to get a few good ones amongst a lot of bad ones
