General Skywalker's march to the borders of known space broke the back of the Confederacy especially when he razed the Confederate world of Taris. Some call him a butcher for this act but he spared civilians when possible though the Clone Troopers brutalized Nemoidians living on Taris at the time and took turns flogging them for sport. In other instances when Skywalker's forces marched through the Confederate heartland, his troops mistreated and abused Nemoidians. When people complained about it, Skywalker coldly said that they deserved it for all the pain and misery they inflicted on others for profits. The Jedi Council wasn't happy with his attitude but popular support for Skywalker in the Republic made it impossible to relieve him of his command without massive public backlash.

@EnSayne98711 ай бұрын
@@jonathanwells223 To my best knowledge and research no, the only unit they had was one of Louisiana mixed race men, don't have the time to look up the full name but was a regiment I believe. It was disbanded before even seeing combat in New Orleans or if not then, certainly after the city fell. Even these men were distinct though because they considered themselves superior to the full blacks and partook in slavery themselves. Beyond that my only knowledge of black men fighting for the CSA was the occasional camp slave picking up a weapon and firing on the Union because he did actually support the South or whatever other reason but even those aren't proven to have happened. Sounds like propaganda bullshit to me unless you can source it

Truly, our two nations have a lot in common and fight against similar foes. May we bring liberty and justice to our respective universes...... /As it turned out, Rebel troops found the B1 battle droids to be quirky and funny but were won over by their charms and high spirits while the battle droids liked fighting alongside organics that didn't treat them like scum./
