B11 Vs Starling Intense Dogfights

There has been some debate recently about whether a b11 or starling would win in a dogfight, and I decided to put it to the test. Many people believe the starling wins outright against it but with enough practice the b11 can do some amazing maneuvers.

don't fight close to the ground with b11, you get a speed boost above the 2nd or 3rd altitude digit which allows you to evade missiles without countermeasures

The only reason you’d have to fight that high is if someone is shooting homing rockets at you

can you still stall like this in the b11 if the starling were to missile spam? or is that why you both agreed no missiles

You could still do this as long as you use chaff prior

If you use chaff yes, but you have a limited amount of chaff so you have to kill the starling before you run out or you're forced into speed the entire DF

It looks like the starling pilot doesnt know how to defend the stall? B11 pilot is using every angle and every way of dogfighting to get the starling which i love to see no one wants to see continous rate fighting show the full complexities of pulling lead and getting your nose on the opponent and the b11 did a excellent job of nose countering and nose defending this is top notch

This was my first time DFing on xbox, on PlayStation I use a maneuver called the snow shuffle in speed to out turn the B11 really bad but on xbox it turns out you can't actually snow shuffle so I had to come up with an entirely different strategy on the spot on a console with a different sensitivity I'm used to

Btw whenever he stalled I just used my speed to get under him, the starling can recover far easier from stalls than a B11 due to the way the starlings boost works, if my aim with the missiles had been better I would've gotten further in the DFs

Flight sim games in early 90s had better camera track. This video shows nothing. Then again you couldn’t fly backwards in a remotely real flight sim. This isn’t a dogfight.

@@spartanrangermetro I’m talking flight simulators that use actual physics models. GTA is Jedi star fighter physics 😂 I spent several years in online flight sims. Unfortunately this game has no way to regulate throttle or aero brake. Pretty sad since they did such a great job with ground vehicles.
