I got the AEM v2 CAI and i thought it would have louder v tec cross over sound, but my AEM short ram intake is noticeably louder.

Nice bro! yeah its more compact so the sound barriers makes it noticeably louder.. the cold air is more for outside vtec crossover that its very loud if you check my other videos with the aem 3in cold air

Does the intake sound more deep and low frequency ? Like an higher capacity engine would compared to the short ram ? thx

That fat intake require ecu reflash or tunning?

It needs a tune. That's why he can't hear his vtec "crack." At 120hp he probably isn't cracking anything really

Alberto no it does not require tuning however, all intakes depending in size inlet and air filter airflow restrictions will all produce all kinds of different sounds, ive had Aem Cai 3inch, Hps Short ram, Carbon whale penis Intake, and the Ebay Sri intake system, and even velocity stack air inlet, they all sound different, all 5 intakes vtec crossovers are all different sounds.. i tended to like the Aem Cai for outside sounds and Hps for interior pov sounds.
