It worked for me too! Thanks so much. Hate having to throw away things like this. One thing I'd suggest is letting the print head dry for a day before reinserting it, rather than letting it dry in the printer. Also, try putting something over the cartridge outputs to prevent them drying out while you're waiting.

Perfect! After washing and letting the printer head to dry overnight, the error kept pooping up when trying to print. I had to perform a couple of cleaning procedures and then it went on printing again. Thank you for the tip!

Bravo! Oprao glavu printera, istresao ostatke vode iz unutrašnjosti i posušio fenom. Vratio glavu, boje i uključio printer. Softverski napravio duboko čišćenje i sada se greška ne pojavljuje i printa uredno.

Dear Vedran Greetings from London! Thank you so much for this video. Amazingly it worked! I would never have allowed myself to run a print head under hot running water and believed it could work. However we gave it a try and after eventually getting rid of the error message gave it 6 nozzle deep cleans before it came out clear. And it works like magic now! Это, пиздец, как сита были "засраны", три ведра под напором струи:))) ушли... а грязь вымывалась и вымывалась. Я, использую не оригинальные чернила, но принтер стоит иногда месяцами без работы. Засох! Как был я рад, когда он заработал снова! Сначала я подумал, что надо применить и искать "утилиту", которая обнуляет работу на принтерах Epson, но мой Canon 7250 не был в долгой работе, случайно вышел на решение проблемы здесь! Support Code B200. Спасибо автору урока! Успеха в решении проблем владельцам подобной модели принтера!

Had this exact same issue and this solution worked for me. I tried printing straight after cleaning the printer head and got same error, I had to leave it 2-3 hours after I cleaned the printer head and worked fine after.

Thanks very much. I had tried to clean printheads on an HP printer but as I thought it did not work. I was skeptical but tried it. Put the washed print heads back in and the ink cartridges and let it sit for about 2 hours and it started up and printed. Not sure how long my iP7220 will continued, has been in use for 7 years and over 4000 pages printed.

hello, after cleaning the printhead the printer still displays the message "the printer needs to be repaired" what do you recommend?

Probably nothing. This procedure works maybe 2 or 3 times on dying printerhead as a temporary measure. New head cost almost as a new printer.

Until he worked ok I always was buying original cartridges. After problem show up I bought compatible replacement because I don't have money to waste. Anyhow this temporary solution isn't permanent because printer head is dying whatever You doing. Buying new printer is the next step after this.

Preciso de ajuda, tenho a canon ip7250 e estava a imprimir quando deu um erro 1410 onde diz que o tinteiro não é reconhecido, já troquei o tinteiro e nada. Fica a piscar uma luz laranja no botão do meio onde tem a folha desenhada. O que posso fazer para resolver o problema? Não me deixa imprimir nada. Obrigado

funciono perfecto, hice el proceso de limpieza y volvi a instalar todo. y seguia apareciendo el error. saque nuevamente los cartuchos y puse solo los negros. inicie la impresora y luego de eso instale color. y la impresora sin errores muchas gracias. esta impresora me gusta por que los papeles se cargan en las bandejas inferiores y no puedo encontrar una similar..

My cartridge tray/lever (or whatever it is called) is stuck in a locked forward position and I cannot push it back, i have tried a dozen times. First, when I pushed the printer head back, it got stuck in a slanted position, and I couldn't get it out. I then removed the screws, one on each side of the cartridge tray and was very forceful to get it out, forceful towards the tray as well, as I got frustrated not being able to get it out for a long time. Hopefully I haven't broken anything. Now, I can't put the screws back on, as I don't have the magnetic screwdrivers, the size and shape of the few screwdrivers I have are not ideal, either. I tried putting them back, but looks like the distance is too long to screw them on, and they have fell multiple times into the inside of the printer and I had to shake them out :( Can I do anything to push the tray back? Everything is closed due to coronavirus and I need a printer. :(

Hm, I think by your description that you made some mechanical damage on mechanism(?) If you check on 7:43 you will notice that I didn't pull back ink cartridge on original position. I just close the tray and printer made all procedure after alone.

Hello to everyone! I have an issue with this printer. When I plug it to a power source the orange light comes on and it stays on for all the time. If I press the power button it lights up but the printer appears to be death. I cant install the drivers and cant turn it off. Can someone give me a hint on this regard? Thanks!

Don't work. I cannot remove and bring the cartridges to the middle manually from the side where they are parked. They are locked in the side where they are parked. AND one more thing,....the printer doesn't turn on anymore,..it doesn't get power anymore or it entered some kind of short-circuit protection,...how can I solve it?

Did You unplug the power cord and usb cable before manually moving print head to the middle(?) If yes then I think that is some mechanical issue.

Hm, radio je neko vrijeme ok...i ko za vraga nekidan idem nešto printati i opet bacio taj B200 error.😔 Sada imam u planu ponoviti ovu proceduru, pa ako ništa ne uspije vjerovatno moram razmišljati o drugom printeru.

Evo baš sam danas ponovo oprao glavu, ali puno detaljnije i sada opet printa ok.😀 Dokle će tako ostati budemo vidjeli, ali sada sam glavu dosta dugo prao mlazom mlake (na trenutke i vruće vode) sve dok je i najmanji trag tinte bio vidljiv. Nakon toga sam još nakapao alkohola u samu glavu i ona mjesta gdje sjedaju tinte...tu je pak opet određena količina tinte izašla te opet sve ispirao u vodi. Glavu sam lagao obrisao i sve sklopio natrag te ostavio nekih sat vremena da ishlapi vlaga koje je sigurno ostalo.

Fatto e insieme ad un'altra procedura di apertura sportella e chiusura all'avvio, ha permesso di riprendere a funzionare. Proverò a stampare su carta fotografica per verifica finale. Ho utilizzato prima del detergente per vetri, poi sotto acqua corrente ed infine con aria compressa ho terminato la pulizia e asciugatura. Grazie

I tried it. But it Didn't work. But I have the ultimate solution for B200. 90% work as far as the glass sensor under your printer isnt broken. You are good to go with my by pass solution for canon Ip7240,Ip7250.

I clean the printer head with hot water and cover it with a paper towel its on the radiator. Now wait and see after 6 hours.

It failed patern test because u rinsed it with water. It needs inkjet solution 100ml , you can buy in ebay, water or alchool damages pixels of nozle.

Your printhead is obviously in beyond repair state. Mine printer from this video is no longer in service. This cleaning method work twice but after some 6 months third time didn't work. This whole procedure is some kind of temporary solution.
