Cool watch. I've got like 6 or 7 Citizen Eco-Drives, ranging from $100 to $500, and the seconds hand hits the markers perfectly on all of them. A perpetually underrated brand.

This is the watch that started my small watch collection three years ago, although I purchased its sibling, BM7390-14E, with black dial and beige strap. I wanted to start out with something affordable. Positive: Nice cylindrical, compass shape of the case. Slightly domed crystal. I like how the light plays with the crystal in the sun. Definitely an outdoorsy/adventure watch for me. The movement seems pretty accurate, slightly better than my digital Casio:s anyway. Negative: The compass ring appears to have lighter shade of gray than the dial which makes it look somewhat cheap. No lume on the dial as you said. Ugly strap, so that got replaced with a nato strap from day one - it's a better match for the adventure theme anyway.

If it doesn't rotate it can't be used as a compass and it's only there for esthetic reasons, it serves no practical purpose...
