Not sure how much power I'm making now. But anything over 200 would be a huge jump from around Maybe 140ish? Inspiration for sure. You guys are dope with it keep up the clean work!

I have a few parts, 12:1 arias pistons with a stocl bore and stroke, S2 street cam gears, long tri-y header from PLM, not cat and 2.5" catback. Wondering what cams ill need and already planning on a port and polish and i would like to keep my dual runner intake after i open it up to keep a decent mid range power.

That's if I'm not mistaken a genuine '92-'93 first gen GS-R is it not? That may just be one of my top 5 all time favorite Hondas ever made , along with of course it's little brother the Ef chassis Crx. Is that gs-r all original body or was it restored ? Cause that thing is clean and sexy as hell, it'd be amazing if it's in original condition physically. Title said it's a b20vtec right ? So I'm assuming it's got the original b17 cyl head and likely a cheap jdm b20 longblock to steal the bottom end from it. What kinda cams and compression ratio this motor have to get to this 230whp , that's getting pretty high for a B20vtec street car, impressive. Man I still remember when guys were making record like numbers just pulling 200-210whp from a 1800cc or 2000cc B series vtec motor. Been watching your channel for a few months now pretty regularly and I haven't yet seen an EF hatch or my all time favorite EF chassis Crx , haven't seen EF's on your dyno yet , is there just that few of them left that they are becoming that rare to grab up in at least savable condition . God I can't stop loving this car , the DA chassis teggys are prob my second favorite Honda of all time , just can't believe someone's actually got a real first gen GSr in this perfect of condition chassis wise. I know somebody who's actually been sitting on a full 100% complete original and bone stock B17 GsR swap that is sitting in a 1990 Crx Dx for about 21-22 years now just sitting in the grass in his motors lawn all this time after he gave up cause he couldn't get it running back 22 or so years ago , he did it way back before they had jumper harness's for the dizzy and Ecu , let alone now adays you just send your harness to someone and tell them what swap it's for and in what chassis and what state of OBD and you get back in a month or two a perfect plug and play harness , this ex-friemd of mine did not hardly know a damn thing about auto mechanics let alone how to do an engine swap that required him to attempt to wire up from dual point to MPFI , and then covert to OBD1 , id bet my money somewhere in that wiring he attempted is where the problem lies that stopped him from being successful. I've tried getting him to sell the swap to me , but that was over a decade ago , I'm sorry I'm rambling now , this gsr got me excited

On a stock 81mm bore b18b1, how much ignition time do you feel comfortable with on 93 octane? Do you usually end up taking time away after the installation of aftermarket camshafts since the engine becomes more efficient at high rpms?

Good day Alex and everyone at Humble. Sorry for asking but i am rather new to the world of honda an recently bought myself a 94 eg that has a b20 vtec setup. Its completely stock, the only things we have noticed is that the intake ports were opened up to fit a set of bmw m3 throttles that were removed again before i bought it and also, the head was skimmed almost max for compression. Car has a induction pipe and a megan racing branch with a 63mm exhaust. It however, does not make the sort of power that this b20 manages in the video. What all was done to this motor to achieve the figures it does?
