When I played my first gig with you - in the middle of some street in Williamson - I looked at this 17 year old kid and thought "This is going to be a long night." What a shock!! When I told our hero, Joe Galante (RIP), about you. He said you were scary, and that someday you would be a superstar. Little did my ex wife know the monster she was creating when she asked me if I wanted the M100 I bought her in 1968. From the day we picked it up, your entire professional life has been devoted to mastering that beautiful ax. You've come a long way - starting with the plywood panels on the M100 and the homemade foot pedals - to the great player you are today. I am so happy to have known and played with 2 people who realized - 100% - their lifetime goal as an accomplished and recognized musician, the other being Gene Cornish of The Rascals. I hope I live long enough to see you inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame. You should have been nominated long ago, but sometimes the politics get in the way. All the best, and if we ever play together again, all tunes have to be in C or F. Sorry, I'm lame.
