Lol how is this bad? On just random King of the Hill matches this is the best. I don't use any melee anyways besides memes so getting to maintain health as I run to a med pack is value every single game maybe once or twice a match. That's way better than Boston basher when I don't want to babysit a random medic

The Sun on a Stick is like a win more effect, if the enemy is on fire you're already probably going to win that exchange. You've gatta try the Third Degree axe for pyro, it can actually do some crazy plays, especially when you crit

it's my favorite melee weapon especially when you loaming alone like in early and mid payload blu team. it makes you survive super easy and very easy to distract some red guys behind

The Sun on a Stick isn't great, but it's far from being F tier. The fire damage resistance can be life saving in certain situations.

I start every match as Scout with my custom bind: "Prepare to feel the wrath of my Collector's Sun-on-a-Stick." Intimidation factor FTW In all seriousness, it works great for surviving afterburn and it can come in handy if you've got a Pyro or two on your team (or a Cow Mangler Soldier if he's being a masochist)

Cow mangler has some synergy as the right click does influct burns at a great cost to dps. Having Heavy and soldier is important though, otherwise you just get hard countered by Vaccinator.

finally people are coming around to the SOAS, the fire resist is so useful, and 25% dmg penalty is negligible when you're only dealing 35 dmg anyway. Plus it can RANDOM crit, the thing is OP.

I think Scout needs a passive primary that turns him into something like Demoknight for these types of melees to work. Like, for example: - gives +50hp - Baby Face Blaster speed He could potentially become a support Demoknight

This would be an amazing weapon if the fire resistance was higher. Is a really situational weapon, (like... No, REALLY situational), 100% crit sometimes is fun, and you'll not use the bat anyways if you are decent. Is not a meta type weapon, is just to have fun when the oportunity presents itself
