We go to houses that have a light on, however this year it was so nice and warm for ToT that most people were sitting outside giving out candy.

UK Halloween is interesting. In America, the way we identify a house that is participating in trick or treating is that the front porch light is on. If the porch light is not on then that family is not giving out candy. So the house can be decorated or not if that porch light is on the candy it is.

We only had one trick or treater, our neighborhood is small. So the parents take their kids elsewhere. It was raining here, yucky for the kids. Great plan with me Rach! ❤

The kids playing Halloween here aren’t very good at keeping to the date. We got some kids round the weekend after and boyfriend had dipped into the candy. I hadn’t gotten enough anyway, because I’m used to only getting the one set of kids, but with him having eaten some we REALLY didn’t have enough. So he had to tell the kids “hold on a second” while we absolutely scrambled to find something for them. 😂 Now I know for next year that I need to up my candy game.

Hello from a sunny South Africa. You can most definitely send some rain this side. Haha. Love your vids. You have given me some great ideas. (Specially about the printables). I am between a rock and a hard place about my planner system for next year, you just gave me some awesome advice. By the way, what kinds of dog is Dexter. I have a 19 year old Dachshund. I think he's to old to bark, but that is what he sounds like when he barks. I just couldn't stop laughing when I heard Dexter bark. Just bless him. Anyway, just keep being you. You just made my life a hole lot easier. 🐕

Dexter is a 14 year old chihuahua cross - we think crossed with a pommy. He is larger than you'd think with him being chi chi - still a small dog but about the size of a larger jack Russell. He's an absolute legend, we love him so much!!! I'm glad you've found my video's a source of inspiration, that's nice to hear thankyou 😊

My kids are both in college now, so no more trick-or-treating for us. We just watch scary movies and make Halloween-themed food :) Also, did you say Dexter’s name is Dexter Morgan?! Love that show.
