I want to file a complaint against Mumbai University regarding the 2024 revaluation results. The outcomes are highly unsatisfactory. Some students who performed well in the exams have failed, while others who didn’t do well have passed. Upon reviewing the photocopies, it's clear that some students received 2 marks for a question while others received 6 marks for the same answer. Why is Mumbai University playing with students' lives and causing them to waste an entire year due to such discrepancies? It's shameful that the university engages in such practices. While they expect us to study hard and discourage us from asking for leniency, the reality is that examiners are jeopardizing students' careers. For instance, a friend of mine initially received 3 marks in a math subject, but after revaluation, his score jumped to 34 marks-just enough to pass. This is unacceptable. Personally, I received unexpectedly low marks in my Math 2 subject, which is disappointing. I’m frustrated with this university for playing with students' futures in such a reckless manner. This needs to change.
