It’s simple for me. Anytime I want something from BA in a premium cabin I simply wait for an Avios sale in one of the Oneworld members like Qatar or Finnair then just redeem reward flights from there. Sure can go a lot further on 20K doing that instead. And if they continue to upset me, I’ll move my money to Aeroplan instead. Much, much more deals happening throughout the year and you get a selection of truly premium airlines like Singapore and Turkish

@@lawrencewang9048 yeah the other airlines using Avios are usually better value than BA

Priority Pass is starting to look a little better now.

Yeah, definitely if you can get it via a Credit Card. I actually paid for one directly and it wasn't really worth its value.

just cancelled 5 flights already booked x 2025. i will lose money of course but never will i be able to even reach bronze! not to mention the gold i held for over 5 years. fun is over.

@@reresimone4300 They have really broken a lot of trust by rushing this in. People often book a year ahead and deserve to know they didn’t book under false expectations.

@@timlewistcf This is true, although people who have booked ahead can still credit their flights to other Oneworld schemes if they want to.

@@gordoncuckoo2150 Maybe - currently you get a soft landing but it’s never been an “advertised feature” of the scheme. Conflicting rumours of what will happen next year. Adding insult to injury

@@timlewistcf yes - when I failed to build up enough for silver, still retained for another year, then went to bronze for the following year (which I still hadn't earned!)
