Hey! I had a question, what's the difference between, BA Hons (applied psychology) and BA (Applied psychology) honours/ research ? I'm confused on which one should I opt for

There’s no major or significant difference between the both.. they are mostly the same… the difference is in their coursework … in honors - there is deep exploration of the subjects.. and in the other one there are basic concepts that are being taught… it totally depends on you whatever you want to study.. career opportunities after course remains the same

I have not myself given this exam as my course was integrated but yes I can suggest you something… in these tests they test your general psychology knowledge… be clear with your basic concepts… the book I will be recommending for the preparation is General Psychology by Morgan and King.

I am not sure about scholarships… but I guess you can get one…you can visit the university … their counsellor will let you know about this

It’s kind of average… you just have to clear your basic understanding of the general psychology…don’t leave any topic but also don’t go too deep into any topic… i hope you understood my point

You’re welcome❤️ placements mostly marketing field k aae the not clinical field … jinke lie salary packages 15k per month to 40k per month maximum range thi.. but then too competition is very high… coz for the vacancy of 16 people more than 100 students were applying

See as a fresher apko 18 se hi starting milti hai at most places and in most professions… but at the end sab depend krta h apki skills pr… jitne zada ap skilled ho utna zada you can expect… baki starting to zada logo ki 18-20 ke around hi hoti h

If you wanna get good packages… you need to have at least mphil in this field… mphil k bad you get the license and then your value as a psychologist increases

Congratulations ☺️ yes sure Placements in amity are fine. I have seen people get good packages from amity placement. But for our course, it’s not that good. For clinical psychology, if you think hospitals or clinics will visit it will not happen. Companies will come for position like HR, or sales manager or things like that. There wqs hardly any company or firm looking for a psychologist. So if you’re like a topper or very active in academics, you might get a placement. As much as I know, around 10% to 15% students got placed by amity in our course. Others are struggling on their own. I would suggest, start finding a job on your own in the last semester and be really very active throughout the course and placement process so that you are one of those 10-15% who got placement from amity.

From second semester onwards you’ll have your field work named minor project.. in which you have to administer a test on someone and make report of it and with each semester this process advances a little… don’t worry… they’ll brief you regarding this.. there’s nothing to be worried about.

Fee for BA Hons Applied Psychology in Amity Noida is approx 92500 per semester.

I think the online videos are just fine for the selection .. no other test is required… even if they take a small interview it would just be for the formality purpose.

To be honest… placements are not good in our course… so, I’ll suggest keeping no hopes from Amity, start looking for jobs by yourself in your last semester. When you’ll be graduating, it will be 2028 (i guess). I hope placement opportunities would be better by that time. But my experience with placements were not so good.

I think, the direct admissions are for bachelor’s program. For masters, you need to give test and the interview.

See, this decision depends on a lot of factors… but meri advice rhegi ki cuet de do agar de sakte ho just ek safe side ke lie… zarurat nahi pdi to koi nahi but agar pad gyi to you will have it with you. 😊

It depends on your preference…see the path is different but the ultimate destination is one that’s psychologist. Bsc has more science related subjects wheres Ba has arts related subject.. so if you’re from science background you can go for bsc otherwise it would be just an extra burden.

Okay … so for MA Clinical Psychology from Amity University… you should have atleast 50% or more in your bachelors… after that you need to clear subject based entrance test and personal interview to get the final admission.

After mphil, you work at hospitals or clinics..and they don’t come to colleges for placement… so i guess even if college claims to provide placement.. they won’t be of any help… in my view if you have completed mphil.. there are a lot of job opportunities where you can apply yourself you don’t need college to assist you in that
