Hi Sir, I have one doubt about the road tax(RTO) percentage. suppose the MX Petrol 5 seater model has a 12% road tax, so the same road tax is applicable for the AX5 Petrol 5 seater model as well or it may vary accordingly?. I know if we change to diesel or 7-seater it may vary.

Sabse radhhi gaadi in sab mein Jeep compass hai. 5 days chalayi hai Nilgiri mountains mein south India mein. 5 people ke liye na theek se jagah hai na suspension mein dum. Bandipur ke forest ke speed breakers mein aise uchhalti thi jaise meri Wagon R karti hai 5 people mein.

Bilkul Daksh bhai. Bahut high hopes ke saath mere friend ne Bangalore mein li thi 34.5 lakhs on road pe Diesel manual. Power and pickup bahut achha hai but seating comfort is average and suspension not at all up to the mark. Even music system is so below average. 5 days travel karke yeh to andaza ho gaya ki 20 lakhs tak ki worth ki gaadi Jeep 30 lakhs above bech rahaa hai. No wonders yeh gaadi super flop hai. Best is either go for XUV 700 for diesel variant or Innova Hybrid if you want petrol.@@DakshKaPaksh

actually the only suv in the comparison is Scorpio n.. rest of them are crossovers. Well crossovers maybe good for certain situations.. they are derived from sedans and hatchbacks. So underlying platform is of a sedan, which gets a structure of a suv, with big tyres but also increases center of gravity which creates unstablity at high speeds and taking cuts even at speeds of 100 kmph. Scorpio n is based on Bolero platfrom.. and so it is not suitable to drive at high speeds.. the only true suv ever created by an indian company was Mahindra Alturas G4 which was extremely good car.. but it failed due to high price. Another one is Thar but thar with 2 doors in not practical suv. Based on same alturas platform is XUV 700 but is a crossover. The companies sell crossovers as suv because of marketing as when a person hears he is buying a suv he goes for it.. but if you tell him it's a crossover then he may not buy it. You can see difference between crossovers and suv's on google.

@@cartaalap read crossover vs suv online.. first basic difference is a suv is RWD while a crossover is FWD.. and check the specs of all the cars above.. 2nd is suv platform is created from group up.. while crossover a sedan platform is used.. although tata says they use land rover platform.. they use sedan like suspension.. as suv suspension system is expensive.. because of this alturas was expensive and true suv.. thar is the cheapest true suv selling right now..mahindra used all bolero experience and some r&d to make thar.. then comes hilux..

FWD are cheaper to make and company market cars as SUVs for more profit.. but FWD in high speeds on heavy vechile are not good.. because of this buses or trucks are RWD..
