Let's recap for you, guys. 50 years ago, the King Vikramadeva 1:48 attended to the throne because his older brother Bijjaldeva 1:44 had an infirmity. Bijjaldeva was married to Shivagami 4:20. The king died and, because he had no heir then and because Bijjaldeva could not be king, Shivagami occupied the throne when the queen died as well, giving birth to Baahubali. Shivagami just has a baby called Ballaladeva and she took care of Baahubali too, she considered as her son.

The point of confusion here is Baahubali. There are two Baahubali's here : 1. Amarendra Baahubali (the father of Mahendra Baahubali, Son of queen mother Sivagami and husband of Devasena) 2. Mahendra Baahubali (son of Devasena and Amarendra Baahubali, grandson of Sivagami Devi). Actually Amarendra Bahubali's mother passes away at birth (his father, Vikramadeva died a couple of months prior), so his Vikramadeva's brother's wife (Sivagami) (aunt) nurses him along with her own child (Bhallaladeva), so both Baahubali (Amarendra Bahubali) and Bhallaladeva are considered to be her children (since she nursed them both and raised them), but Bijjaladeva (husbadf of Sivagami and the elder brother of late king i.e Amarendra Baahubali's actual father) isn't happy about that. He wanted his own son (Bhallaladeva) to be crowned the king and didn't want his brothers' son to be adopted by his wife. Let me make it simple : KingVikramadeva and Queen (whose name isn't mentioned) die so Sivagami Devi (King's brother's wife) nurses and raises their child => Amarendra Baahubali. Amarendra Bahubali and Devasena => Mahendra Baahubali. The woman who dies at the Beginning is Sivagami, the woman who is shackled is Devasena (and no, she didn't committ infidelity. Bhallaladeva is just salty that Devasena chose Amarendra Bahubali instead of Him for marriage).

No he isn't uncle . His family has tool a oath to serve the king and be a slave to the crown. He said we are slaves to the crown, you cannot eat with us , because you are from royal family. So the young prince said you are like an uncle to me which made the slave become emotional. The young prince ( Mahendra bahubali ) has Genuine Compassion towards people around him.

The whole family branch is like this The first king(who is not shown who died) and his brother the paralysed man, then Two wives one who died giving birth to a son she was the wife of real king, and then this lady sitting on the throne the wife of paralysed man who raises both kids. Parents -king vikramadeva and his wife Son - amarendra bahubali Parents - kings older brother bhijjaldeva and sivgamini Son - bhallaldeva King vikramadeva and his wife died when a.bahubali was small and tecnically his brother bhijjaldeva was about to be the king but just becuz he was not capable of being the king his wife ( sivgamini ) took the throne as a.bahubali's parents are dead queen shivgamini took him as his second son and as soon as they grew up a.bahubali was being good and bhallaldeva was being bad and also a.bahubali was great in everything and bhallaldeva was poor in everything and queen shivgamini also loved a.bahubali more than bhalladeva and bhallaldeva was jealous of him, later on when a.bahubali married devsena bhallaldeva was totally pissed off and was burning over jealousy becuz he also loved devsena but bahubali married her and even devsena loved a.bahubali , then bhallaldeva made a plan and made queen shivgamini misunderstand a.bahubali and told him to choose between the throne and devsena but he choosed devsena and then shivgamini told him to leave the palace and the luxury life and live a normal life, bhallaldeva now became the king as a.bahubali choosed devsena bhallaldeva thought that now a.bahubali will be weak but instead the whole ministry was being useless infront of him and even the king had no use cuz when a.bahubali went and lived with the normal people he started to solve their problem there only and their was no need for the people to go to the king for help cuz a.bahubali already solved them and then bhallaldeva made another plan to kill a.bahubali he told sivgamini (their mom and the queen ) that a.bahubali has planned to kill him as a result sivgamini ordered katappa ( a.bahubali's made uncle ) to kill him and this is how bahubali's dad a.bahubali got killed and when he was dead devsena (his wife ) gave birth to bahubali and got arrested by bhallaldeva's army and that time shivgamini realised that a.bahubali was not wrong it was all bhallaldevas plan then she declared bahubali to be the next king and after that she took bahubali with her by saving herself and bahubali from bhallaldevas army and the first scene you saw in the film was bahubali in queen grandmother sivgamini's hand , i hope everything is clear now 😊😊

The king vikramadeva died because of illness and left his 6 months pregnant wife alone who was the great queen, and after 3 months when she is giving birth to her son Amarendra bahubali she lost her life , and now kings sister in law that means his brother's wife shivagambini take over the power as a queen and her husband is that old guy who always drinks and they had a son named ballaladeva who is a villian . So actually bahubali is the son of King . But shivagambini treats bahubali equally as his son. And the woman who was prisoned and being tortured is amarendra bahubalis wife and mother of Mahendra bahubali who climbed the hill for a girl . And she didn't betrayed anyone nor slept with anyone they got married , if you want your confusion get cleared then you must watch bahubali part 2,it has amarendra bahubalis story i e his mom and dad's Love story.

Hi Alex And Allen There is big problem with English, Which is Your Language. Like You guys call To Both Your Father's Brother And Mother's Brother - Uncle, But in India I will be calling Mama To my Mother's Brother, Chacha For Father's Brother who is younger than my father, Tau - Father's Brother who is Older than My Father, Same Situation is Brother in Law - like I would be calling Saala for my Wife's Brother And Jeeja For My Sister's Husband . In India We Terms as A description/Term in Relation to differentiate not like English where everything is common.. that's very confusing.. . One more Examples. What you call your Sister's son and Brother's Son - Nephew .. so by Word Nephew, How one Unknown person would Differentiate that kid is Your Sister Son Or Brothers Son.... Until n unless you explain them. But India it's nothing like that... Sister's son Called Bhanja Brothers Son Called - Bhatija.... So Easy If I Say Niyansh is my Bhatija ... Everyone can Understand Niyansh is my Brother's Son. If I say Deepak is by Bhanja. Then people can know that Deepak is Son of my Sister . So easy . But in English Either Niyansh and Deepak.
