I think it depends on what we Muslims used the crescent star and moon to represent. It might have been used by other cultures to represent various Gods but we may use it to represent something else. Pakistan use it to represent a different meaning. ​@@TheCaptain773 Crescent moon was established by ottoman empire, read history. Their flag had the first crescent moon symbol ever which is in 11th century. That is bcz islamic calendar doesn't follow the english one. Jesus wasn't even born in december. Also in the dessert of arabia people used to count days with lunar calendar. That's why ottoman put crescent moon( the symbol of ramadhan and eid's arrival) and star( five pillars of islam) in their flag. Do your research then come back. I as a muslim never knew crescent moon represents islam until some internet guy mentioned.

​​@@TheCaptain773 Also no one travels to kiss a black stone. It's not mandatory to kiss or touch it. But the stone will bear witness who went there so people want to touch it or point towards it. And about kissing it is also very optional, during covid there was restrictions of not touching or kissing it. And it doesn't absorb sins. That's a misinterpretion. The stone is said to be from heaven. It used to be whiter than milk. But over ages it was exposed to the sinful, unholy touch of human beings which ruined it's original glory. Kissing it was an emotional gesture of prophet(saw) bcz it is witness to his forefathers.
