Beef Tikka Karahi Written Recipe With Directions:
Ingredients:
-Beef boneless cubes 1.8 Kg
-Clarified Butter (ghee) 1 ½ cup
-Green chili (hari mirch) paste ½ tbs
-Ginger garlic (adrak lehsan) paste 1 ½ tbs
-Dried coriander (khuskh dhania) crushed 1 ½ tbs
-Turmeric (haldi) powder ½ tsp
-Cumin seeds (Zeera) powder 1 tbs
-Red chili (lal mirch) powder ½ tbs
-Salt (namak) ½ tbs or to taste
-Tikka masala 1 tsp
-Tomato (tamatar) 6 (cut them into two equal halves)
-Water (pani) 1 cup
-Yogurt (Dahi) 1 cup whisk well
-Piece of Coal 1
-Ground mixed spices (garam masala) 1 tsp
-Ginger (adrak) julienne for garnishing
-Green chilies (hari mirch) julienne for garnishing
Directions:
-In a pressure cooker, add clarified butter on high flame.
-Add beef and cook for 8 mins until it turns light brown in color.
-Add green chili paste and ginger garlic paste. Cook it for 2-3 mins.
-Add dried coriander crushed, turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, red chili powder, salt, and tikka masala. Cook it for 3-4 mins.
-Add tomatoes and water. Cover the pressure cooker and cook it for 4-5 mins.
-Remove the skin of tomatoes.
-Add water, cover it, and cook it for 10 mins.
-Turn off the flame and add yogurt. Mix well.
-Then, cook it on high flame.
-For koila dum, take a small bowl in karhai. Heat a piece of coal and place the burning coal in a bowl. Drop a few drops of oil on the coal and cover for 2 minutes.
-Add ground mixed spices. Mix well.
-Dish out and garnish it with ginger and green chilies.
-Serve and enjoy it with nan or roti.
