I think I met Babaji in a bookshop back in early 2000's b4 I was even spiritually aware. This young man was sitting on the floor next to the section on spiritual reading. I recommended a book he looked at me with eyes that pierced my heart and declared he'd read them all. He was drinking cider. Thought nothing of it but all these years never forgot...then I read about Babaji and intuitively knew. It's as it happened, no distortion no lie. It may not be him but man those eyes will always make me smile. Thought it was special then and now convinced I was blessed.

Loved listening to your account of the visit to Babaji"s cave. You are intrinsically a very good person. The very fact that you took a list of names of all the people you knew, good or bad, for getting them blessed just goes to prove that you have unconditional love. Now that's a rare thing in this world. Secondly, any disciple or seeker who has implicit faith in his Master is always protected. No wonder you were blessed, protected and bailed out of a critical situation. You deserved every bit of the blessing. Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience

Bill wonderful story, one that's wonderfully retold as well. I saw the video a few days back and forgot about it, though it stuck in my mind. I revisited today after reading and watching videos about Babaji's cave. The most wonderful thing in the video is about the list of you carried with you, about your friends, relatives, and even people you don't like,, and reading their names diligently at all the places you visit so they could get the blessings as well. What a wonderful gesture. I think I am going to copy you, from now on. A couple of months back I decided to visit Neem Karoli Baba's ashrams at Vrindavan and Kainchi, near nainital, with my wife. I was really pulled by the videos of Neem Karoli Baba and Krishna Das's Hanuman Chalisa -simply devine and out of this world. So I have done all my travel bookings based on my visit to these two Ashrams. I had also read about Somabari Baba's caves at Padampuri and Kakrighat and was panning to visit them.Then I was trying to look up what else I could visit near Nainital in Kumaon when I read about Babaji's cave and looked up the videos and now I am kind of hooked and am keen to see if I can visit Babaji's cave in the short stay that we have. Also being on the wrong side of seventy, I am not sure whether we can manage the trek, though both of us are in good shape and have done a quite a few treks. I would appreciate any leads from you. We have plans to be in Bhowali from 23rd to 25th October 2018. Do we need warm clothes as well?

@@Slsy11 As Bill says, go for it. I came back after a wonderful trip. It was just amazing. The late October weather was wonderful. You can write to YSS Ashram at Dwarahat - you can look up their website in the Internet and write to them. You can stay at Dwarahat and take a Taxi upto the foot of the Dunagiri hills and trek the last couple of miles or so. It will take you an hour and half to climb up. The Ashram will provide you with an escort and a guide who knows the route. You will enjoy the trek, the Meditation Room and the Cave. December and January are likely to be too cold. So I will suggest sometime in late March or April as the best time to visit. Wish you all the Best and a great Spiritual Experience.

@peternolan8147 жыл бұрын
Hello Bill, You are most welcome indeed. Without going into detail we have so much in common even if our paths might be different but only with respect to the details. I am 63 64 next July and I have searched for decades for answers that might help me feel better than I used to. I'm not wholly out of the woods yet but altogether in a much nicer happier place than I used to be. Can I just say that if I was pressed to give to reduce it all down to one then I would say that stopping being angry with Mammy - forgiving Mammy - was the key to my life and being aware consciously so that my terrible temper had the most detrimental effect on me. There were imho other key components also and I will never know so much for sure but if I did elaborate I could paint a bigger picture that might tell the whole story. Then we have to factor in karma that is a great unknown in all our lives till we find ways to see what we bring with us into our present life from past lives. You can tell probably I could just keep going like this so let me finish up by saying it's only a matter of time before pharmacists discover new drugs that will enable all of us - all of us - to have an NDE like yours that you will write about and speak about till the day you die. Happy days. Peter.

OMG, Bill is it really you??? I thought your name was Bill Martin and I've looked for you for so long! If it's you, we met in Campbell Hot Springs in 1982 or 1983 for a rebirthing week. An Italian woman had just told me Babaji was calling me to Haidakhan and I was all confused, and you told me you had gone and he was God. You told me about your infected ear that was healed when you asked Baba to heal it so you knew you should go, and you told me to ask for a sign too. You told me Baba took you astral traveling to meet Jesus in a cave! Then, when our group went into the woods for a fire purification exercise and no one had a match, I asked Baba to light the fire if he wanted me to go to India and it lit!!! Is it you that I went through this with??? I arrived in Haidakhan on Halloween in 1983, and I was there when he left the body on Valentines Day in '84. I have SO many miraculous stories now, like you, and I have always remembered you for being such an influence to get me to go!!! Thank you SO SO much! I have written to churches in Florida looking for you, but until never had a lead. Please let me know if I have found the priest that guided me to God in form! Om Namah Shivay :)))
