This comment is to peacefully protest the gatekeeping of RD’s lectures. Common complaints as clarified by the community on the Ram Dass subreddit are as follows. Removal of content, privatizing/licensing out content, copyright striking others who post content without replacing what was removed or providing another means to access the content. Restriction of what is released, cutting and editing pieces of full lectures and not releasing the full lectures themselves. Putting a paywall in place that provides access to still limited content. Access to content is overall severely limited compared to just a year or two ago.

Aaand then you see how religions and dogma and false constructs arise and then you appreciate how rare it is to hear real truth. Be thankful. Times like this only come around briefly on this planet. There will be another 2000 years until people have the chance to hear real truth.

I agree. There was this amazing video either called pain chillstep or suffering chillstep that hit me so hard and I would regularly go back to when I really feeling it or if something had happened, it was this compilation of great sections of his lectures on pain and suffering, it was deleted and is so frustrating this thing I would go to for guidance and comfort is gone.

"Melodrama", great word from the '70's! Image of Ram Dass from waay back in the days. I sat with him a few times back in that classic decade. He is/was truly a legend.

It's interesting to see how his lectures reflect growth and or change in consciousness throughout the decades. Listening to a Ram Dass lecture from '69 isn't the same experience as a lecture from the '80s

A few weeks ago, at my dads place, I saw a titmouse INSIDE of a bird feeder that is not easy to open. I didn’t try much to rationalize it before playfully accepting that it was Neem Karoli Baba I’ve since moved into my first home I’ve owned and there’s a bird feeder. I’ve not seen any birds eat from it except a titmouse Yesterday morning a titmouse was along my back fence and trees chirping away, wouldn’t stop lol Maharaji yelling “Come see this holy man and his dharmic yard!” in a playfully sarcastic manner

They have changed tho. The '70s was such a sweet, innocent time. We really thought we were going to change the world. Now at 67 YO I am a spiritual road warrior. So amazing watching all the changes throught the decades...

Aspects of decades change, but humanity remains the same. I don't think you are listening when he speaks of accepting ALL. There is no longing for the 70s when you are in the aware conscious moment. You're not taking it all in 😊❤
