Those strip and downtown characters are so uninteresting. They have chosen to hang out in some of the busiest tourist areas in the world. Then they try to enforce their rules of payment. In my opinion, people should be able to tip or not without the verbal barrage.

My sister stayed there for her vacation about a month ago. She enjoyed it. The room looks like a place where you can just rest your head down and relax after a long day on the strip. Although that dirty window would make me go crazy. Great review of the place. I'll be aware to not take the camera out when characters come up to me.

yes, it's a great budget hotel for location and when you're so tired, that window can't bother you 😅You can take pictures/video of anything. You're in a public place. Bill them for talking to you lol

Never knew that those costumed characters on the strip were that aggressive.. Normally they tell me upfront how much they want for a picture together and I always tell them no thanks! I made a video last year at the strat. It has to be renovated rooms to make your stay worth it here. Also, not loud in my room...It's hard to beat the location of Linq. I say... depending on your purpose for Vegas...

We had an Elvis performer come up to my wife one day who's a platinum blond and was wearing a short mini skirt came up to my wife and asked if he could take a picture with her not him but her i thought he was like trying to do a Marilyn Monroe thing since she looks like her then he said to me thats $40 i told him to back off or the wig was coming off and he shut right up. You were 100% right standing your ground good for you.

They need to regulate those guys somehow. I live in LA and it’s the same thing on Hollywood Blvd. A $5 tip seems reasonable but it sounds like they’re hustling for $20 to $40. Imagine that x 25 pics a day tax free. They’re making more money than the average tourist visiting Las Vegas or LA.

Word to the wise, never even make eye contact with those characters in the street because they will approach you and then demand money. I see it all the time walking around Times Square in NYC. When Spider Man started talking to you, just turn around, walk away and don't give him any attention. He'll just move on and scam the next person. I am very sorry that happened to you. Hope it doesn't happen again.

It's a queen size bed. 14:06, 1 thing I don't like about hotels is the fridge is too small, cannot fit 2 food inside. I wish the fridge is a little big to fit 2 food inside. Also, no bathtub, but that's okay. Rain shower is good. I wish all hotels have mini big fridge and bathtub. I am curious, what floor are you staying and do they provide silverware spoon and fork? In US and Canadian hotels, they don't provide silverware spoon and fork and I am disappointed because I don't want to eat by hand.

Yes, I meant idk if they gave me the right bed… 🥰 I guess they really don’t want you to store food… room is 7 something where I filmed the door entrance so it will be 7th floor. There is def team bathtub & team walk in shower… Good idea to run a poll next time 😀 no silverwares usually in hotels unless you order food from hotel 🏨
