I love this foundation so far. I've only worn it twice. It was long lasting for me. 10 hrs of wear both times. I'm a super dry girl. Loving in Colorado and it's winter now. I can feel the slip you are talking about and think this won't wear as nicely in the summer months. But for winter, it's about to be my ride or die

I just grabbed this last night and just opened it to check the color but I can’t wait to play with it! A note about the sticker that says the color, it is actually perforated so you can keep that part on the package you just have to be careful peeling it off. But it would be nice if they had it written on the package

I love your more natural skin tone (less/faded self tanner). It brings out your eyes! And doesn't look crazy with no face makeup lol probably giving you more feeedom from constant fondation! I wouldn’t have noticed the line down your forehead if you hadn’t pointed it out but I’m glad you did because now we know it’s not going to be a foundation that will last a 12 to 14 hour shift for me. I’m still going to purchase it! I always trust your reviews and opinions on anything beauty! I do think it’s great that you can get this for $8 dollars! The prices of “Drugstore makeup” has skyrocketed! Thank you for reviewing it with one side using primer and nothing on the other half of your face so we could really see if there was a difference and in my opinion the side you used the primer does look nice and smooth! I do wonder if setting spray would help the longevity? Thanks for another amazing review Steph!!!! 💜💜

Definitely agree, this foundation does not withstand sweating! It was legit melting off of my face at the beach! It’s great for basic everyday wear as long as you aren’t going to be in the heat/sweating! Other than that I love the way this foundations wears on my oily skin!

The camera settings must be really good cause I’ve noticed the differences you’ve mentioned between the two sides (with and without primer). I have dry skin often affected by dermatitis, so I’ll check the ingredients to make sure it has any oil!

I like drugstore foundations and makeup for travel, as Im afraid of taking my expensive stuff on holiday in case it breaks/spills/gets lost, so I find brands like ELF are great for that. Drugstore stuff generally does not last well like high end stuff though, I think you just have to powder and seal with setting spray for it to work

If you know, how would you compare it to the ELF Camo Hydrating CC Cream. I have combination skin and I am enjoying it. But I use sticky primer, powder, and setting spray. And I do like medium to full coverage.

I’d say This formula is slightly less coverage than the cc cream. It also doesn’t get quite as dewy on me as the cc does over the day, but strangely wears worse than the cc. I can get the cc to wear much longer, but do need to blot to control shine. I prefer the cc formula

I think that I’m going to pass on this one, I actually don’t like it when the brands put skincare in their foundations. I don’t mind spf as long as there’s no flashback but other than that I just want a foundation. 💕

I have dry skin too. I like the Hydrating CC cream better. I do have this foundation, what I do. Holy Hydrating Moisturizer and their Facial Oil ( it’s discontinued) Apply with a damp beauty sponge. Plus, having dry skin we sweat ( natural oils comes through ) In the summertime! Now…. For the Winter and Fall. We probably have to be extra hydrated with primers and moisturizers 🤣 Hope this help as well.

Maybe it's just my TV (75") but I can see where the primer was put on the center cheek area. You know that outline of primer with some foundations? That's what it looks like... I got the Maybelline Super Stay tinted skin foundation on a whim, I ordered 310 thinking it would be like Shiseido 310, it's not it's orange. I'll color correct & try it today. I’ve been quite excited about this foundation since I found out about it. I love a majority of elf products! Not all don’t get me wrong. This is why I love watching your videos!! I know I. Getting raw honesty! Now I’m not so excited as I need my makeup to last for over 12hrs! I don’t have time in the early hrs to make a load of extra effort to make something work!
