I had heard this number in 78 rpm sung by another maestro KL Saigal and I was missing all the words then.I was 15 at the time, that was 70 years ago. Bhimsenji has brought all the values of this well known Thumri to the forefront. Now I listen to it nearly every night. Panditgi has done a real justice to this rare piece of art.
