Congress candidate Babush Monserrate has won the Panaji by-poll seat with a comfortable margin. The celebrations have started and supporters are seen chanting Babush’s name. Speaking to media, Babush has thanked the voters of Panaji for putting their faith in him. Taunting at the opposition, he has also stated that it is clear now that Panaji women are safe.
