Have you tried putting Cove down earlier at night? I notice my son has a “sweet spot” where he sleeps longer in the am, it’s 6:30 pm for bedtime. If we put him down later he wakes up at the same time as if he went down earlier... I don’t know if this makes sense

This might sound crazy, but you could try putting her to bed earlier to get her to sleep in later. My 2.5 year old started waking up at 5:30 every morning, and we moved his bedtime from 7:00 to 6:00 (super early), and now he sleeps until 7:30 in the morning. I don't know how that makes sense, but it might be worth a try 🤷‍♀️

Yes!!! This is true. If kids wake up early, it’s because they get overtired and their bedtime is too late. Earlier bedtime=later wake up! Weird but soooo true!

It makes so much sense since the cortisol level of kids gets higher the longer they are awake. This Leads up to them sleeping a little less good and most often they wake up earlier. When you lay them down earlier, when the cortisol hasn’t got up yet (aka the time before they get fussy and tired) they sleep sooo much better 🥰

Just to piggyback on comments about putting Cove to bed earlier to help her sleep in, I lay my daughter down at 7 pm and she always wakes up at 7 am. Thankfully she’s been a very good sleeper and never had a tough time going to bed. Now she will cry if she ends up going to bed after 7 pm or if she lays with us so we avoid those habits. Hope this helps!

I don't know if she would be too young for this concept, but with her sound machine can you change the color from your phone? if so, you can teach her to play by herself if she wakes up early and she's not allowed to leave her room until the light turns "green". I've seen a lot of people do that, but not sure like I said with her age!
