Idk y those cartoons today r being hated on. Those cartoons we're not out when my oldest was still little. They have been some learning tools. But I prob should get her more books. I've just been trying to hook her room/s up. Also I had to ask her gma am I trippin or did diapers get cheaper? Bc I bought some Xmas times & I thought I bought them on sale for just baby's in her age range & they were starting to get low. I bought a whole bunch... before she had so much still left over from her baby shower. But then I thought they prob did get cheaper & I'm just thinking I found some luck. Her gma was like no, they def must've got cheaper. I'm just like yeah! Bc I used to buy boxes of those things & it'd be $40-$50. Anyways, I always thought my baby was good at communication. She just turned 1 Jan 9. But I always thought that she wanted to mimic ppl& things & too. Bc I've def caught her trying to follow directions to songs, me having to think 2, 3 xs did she just say what I thought? & her singing along to songs. Sigh, she says momma every now & then just not as much as her baby babble. & I finally got a recording of her saying it 🥰. But so her memory's coming in too. & I'm def not tripping about that. Bc I really do try to listen through her baby jibber jabber. She actually likes the abcs, that's her jam, & she gets so hype when it comes on. She's so used to me encouraging her on that, that when she sings along to the parts she knows,... she claps for herself & says yay. I try not to laugh bc somexs I wonder if she's developing feeling self conscious. But it's just everything she does is so cute, I can't help it. Like just her being, her existence is precious. Stayed over at the dad's fam recently & my munchkin really fell through the bars of the bed frame. She was so dramatic about it too. She makes me think of the gif of that little boy freaking out. Holding rope when the water got higher. & All he had to do was stand. Bc it was shallow anyways. Anyways, I got her out & it was just another moment where I'm like lawd this kid. She's so tiny 🥰😅. It's so serious to her too, I need to stop laughing.

This is fun to watch. I'm no baby anymore, but I like to think back on those times. I started speaking full sentences when I was 1.5 y/o but I would always stutter because I wanted to express so much more than I could.

At 24 months I noticed that a child is at its prime in all around engagement, what happens when the parent never teachers their child that they will not always want to engage with them? I feel like I learned that the hard way, with my dad being at work and not putting on a smile when he saw me after I turned 13 I took it hard. For about a year I thought my dad didn’t love me because he didn’t come to me for a hug or didn’t ask me how my day was, until I realized that he was working all day and was tired. I’m 18 now and going to college and I have a pretty good outlook on what my purpose is and how I could be a better servant and a loving, son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend.

This was helpful for me. I am a Mom to a baby boy who just turned one year old on 28th of May, 2021. I like the fact that my son can babble a lot. I am keen to know by 1 year age how many words should he be speaking? He is crawling well now and walks with support, for instance, by holding a table, etc. Also, I want to know how much and what kind of foods should I be giving him per day. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!

My munchkin had such an awkward in between phase of crawling. That 😅 I'm like 🤔she's just really scooting splits everywhere. & Sometimes, part "walk" & I don't imagine that's the easier way. & Even tho she's mastered crawling now, now she wants to stand on her feet while also making steps w/ both her hands & feet. She's good at standing. She will only tolerate being taught how to walk for so long.

I’ve got question maybe someone reading this can share their opinion as me and my partner disagree . Our three year old toddler has always had a keen interest in numbers and letters maths and now spelling, whilst watching KZbin kids some months ago watching his favourite abc videos he stumbled across some Arabic children videos showing Arabic alphabet songs words etc. long story short in these few months he has now learnt the whole Arabic alphabet, songs and some words, he writes them down and sings the songs to himself sometimes when he’s playing. I must add me and my partner don’t speak the language or understand it at all . My partner has now deleted these videos from the search history because she has concerns about our child learning a language we don’t understand, I’m not sure if we doing the right thing as I feel we have now robbed him of a interest he chose for himself. I would like to hear your thoughts please. Thanks in advance.

He could just be teething, my nephew who is 14 months won't eat much when his teeth hurt. If he is pulling on his ears or putting his hands in his mouth then its probably just a tooth coming in and you shouldn't worry too much. If not then just keep trying, babies have preferences like everyobody else and they change their minds easily

Does he have clear words he uses often?My baby is 16 months old and has about 8 words he uses regularly, they all are people. Try to repeat words, a good 5 that you want him to get custom to saying. If you want him to speak two languages, speak one language at home and then put his music or videos in another language. I also learned that putting a lot of videos, of music and also coco melon is really good for their cognitive learning. Also for the food part, some kids are just like that. I see when my baby doesn’t want to eat anything, I first eat it and then give to his father. Babies love to imitate others, and he always ends up eating it. Don’t worry every kid develops at a different pace, these are just some things to try applying to your child that I saw worked. You think they will never talk, but one day they just start repeating words like “Mami” because they hear that word a lot. Just keep practicing and make it fun.

My baby is 1 year and 5 months old. She does not use words. She hasn’t learned any words yet. We live in a bilingual household. Spanish is mainly spoken I’m the only one that will speak to her in English. On the other hand she’ll see my dad put on glasses and she puts them on his head, the remote to turn on the tv, buttons to get water from the machine, she’ll lock her baby gate when I’m coming so I don’t get into her play room she copies what we do. Why isn’t she learning words. Is this normal are there other parents out there am I being too quick to worry? She started walking at around 1 yr 3 months but we also spoil her and help her with everything. I’m worried is she just a late bloomer. She’s always talking but its baby talk she doesn’t have any stims or anything like that. I’m just so worried but I’ve always been very worried for her as she’s my first and only.

I’ve gone crazy comparing her to every child her age and it’s making me go insane. Why do they do this and she doesn’t. She’s very smart though she’ll try to put glasses on your face she changes the channel with the remote she unlocks the baby gate knows how to get water from the fridge by clicking a button she copies everything we do she opens books and pretends to read and colors a lot. My son just turned 18 months old today. At the daycare he won't say much but at home he is trying to speak. He says mama, dad, hello, eye and five... his classmates can say the colours etc. I'm concerned when I see how much the children are communicating in your video. But does it cause a delay in speech growing up in a bilingual home? My wife speaks in Chinese and I speak in English. He meets all the other milestones and he is very bright. He picks up how to do things etc and he is always observing everything. Only his speech concerns me.

@LoreEclectic
@LoreEclectic 5 жыл бұрын
At 14 weeks babies can't swallow normal food yet. You should wait until they are at least 4-6 months old before trying other foods because they have a tongue thrust reflex that won't allow them to eat solids. Your baby will tell you when they are ready, when they can sit up on their own and when they stop pushing food out of their mouth with their tongue then you can start on baby foods and when they are willing to chew you can add other things as well. Though their diet should still be mostly milk at that point as you slowly ween them and start on regular foods
