Wow! It's just a soap and they've invested so much into the perfect execution. The writing is so apt and realistic. The production and direction are top notch. The effort they put into the execution of that mehndi scene, the song, the dances, the ambiance, it's an example for our other high budget plays with superb cast but poor script and execution. I know it’s a drama lol but my point is that the show is portraying his very serious behaviour towards his wife in a light way. It desensitises the public to this kind of behaviour.
