Finally a pattern I think I can make as an ultra beginner that's not just the blanket I've been working on forever, or something else square! Thanks so much!!

I’ve already completed one pair in newborn size!! and I made a much bigger one just to see if I could and I wove the ends in a way so I could tie a bow on top, but could easily put the bow on either side, So Cute!! Knitting Achievement Unlocked: First Project Complete … except twins are having twins so I still need to make another nb pair and a couple pairs in the next size up, and maybe a couple pair in the next, next size up. Thanks again! 😁🫶

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I've tried sooo many tutorials to make any type of sock/baby booties for a newborn as a beginner and I failed so many times. This pattern worked for me and turned out so cute. I love it!

@@sylviesilver5961 : Hi Sylvie, I made the booties a while ago and my friend took all that I made. She loved them. She gave them to her family as gifts and they all fit beautifully. I would recommend doubling the thickness of the yarn if you're making slippers for toddlers so that they don't wear out quickly. 🐞

I'm due this September. My mother told me to not waste money on baby shoes since they are a gimmick (babies can't walk). She told me knitted booties are comfier for babies and the elastic of the wool stitches keeps them on snug and not too tight.

I think that any beginner will enjoy making this booties, your explanation is very good for anyone to follow. I am a knitter practically self taught, I learned how to knit by just looking at my grandmother, I sat beside her, and just watch her knitting, she just showed me the basics, she didn't explained all the facts, so over the years I learned a lot and I am still learning there is always a new technique to improve your knitting. Greetings from Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Holy Crumbs! That was soooooo EASY to make. Why did I stuff my brain watching complicated booties and making them. 8cm square knitted and there you go, by magic, a baby bootie. You are really talented and so HUMBLE. My stash would make several pairs of booties, for charity. GENIUS IDEA FOR MY NEWFOUNDLANDS. These booties will come in handy in winter for my Newfoundlands, to protect them from snow bite and deadly salt. They do wear kids socks but handmade booties would be great. I did subscribe. To your prestigious channel on KZbin. 👍👍👍😘🍾🍾Thanks for sharing and caring Hugs.😘
