My guess is the mother went to church a lot when she was pregnant, so the baby is probably familiar with the priest's voice from when the mum was pregnant. This is why they tell parents to talk to babies while they are still pregnant with them coz they will recognize the voice when they are born.

Looked like grandma was stressing over the baby a little bit, well a lot, lol, and It was cute the way the mom would hurry and turn her baby away from the Priest but, it’s okay to allow your babies to interact. It’s a good sign that they are on their way to having good emotional and social skills! Don’t most babies cry during a baptism?
