I think family pictures on that blank wall would be cute. Like a progression left to right of ultrasound photo, maternity photo, newborn photo, family photo. Beautiful nursery....makes me miss having babies. I have 3 sons but they are 31, 25 and 14.

I love the nursery, very thought out and peaceful. I think the floating shelves would be nice to add, and like your idea of adding pictures. As Owen grows you will find so many things to display.

Umm-I would say no, no shelves. The reason is that we all need a place where our eyes can rest. The room is beautiful Sophie, and so comfortable. It speaks of you (and I know Jim too). Well planned, put together with love and care. Thank you for sharing!

More shelves means more to dust. If you can get away with not adding them you’re probably saving yourself some extra housework later. Owen’s nursery is perfect :)

Wow! You took me down memory lane. My first born is 22 and married now! His birthday is about a week after Owen’s. So many memories were brought back. I love the nursery as it is. The shelves would be nice, especially if it is something that will grow with them. That’s probably my biggest piece of advice for room decor. Try to find things that will grow with them and choose things that aren’t too permanent. My boys really had a total of three changes for room decor through the years. Pottery barn loved us.

Great video Sophie....definitely one of my favorites ! The nursery is simply gorgeous. The floating shelves are a great idea. You could also incorporate a mirror for little Owen on that wall. Another option would be to have a tall shelving unit with doors, in which you could store all of his toys. It could even be lockable so that you can limit his access to certain items.

A tip I found helpful to prevent pee-pee accidents on the change table was to take a wipe and lightly wipe it along the waste band of the diaper. The cool touch is just enough to stimulate the urge to go.

Such an adorable nursery. My little guy is just over 10 months now and we finally got shelves in his room. It made all the difference and I love it. I think shelves would be so fitting on that wall. 😊

His room is lovely. So sweet and cozy. The floating shelves are nice. We got some great ones from Ikea. We decorated them when my son was a baby. Through the years he has displayed awards and souvenirs. It's been 16 years and they still work great with his style. Loved the video!

Lovely and well organized room.Congrats. One bit of advice, I would move the crib away from the exterior wall as that is the coldest spot in the room. They recommend that cribs (and pianos) be placed against interior walls. Good luck
