I have watched this video from the UK and am so heartbroken for this woman and her two children. She has suffered since the day her own mother died because there was no one who stood in her corner. Her birth family did the absolute minimum when she was a child and as an adult her poverty excluded her from their affection. The diabolical Njeri killed one of her children and abused and damaged the other but nearly everyone in her life has contributed to her broken heart in one way or another. I hope the generosity of strangers will help to ease the passage of her future life and give her some room to breathe without thinking of where the next meal is coming from and how to pay for it. Make no mistake, once the donations start coming the family will also appear like a flock of crows. She must resist them. I hope to hear in a future episode that things are improving for this poor young woman and herr family.

Why did the mortuary attendant take the body of a tortured child and not inform the police so that they can investigate how the child died? I can’t even imagine the pain Maureen is going through. This story eerily reminds me of my life. My mother went to Europe and left 5 of us with our grandmother. I remember the suffering we went through but we kept silent because we had no where to go. We were beaten almost daily, for almost anything. One time, my aunt beat our last born with a pounding stick on the head and his pupils rolled up while he kept kicking his feet. She and my grandmother forced my sibling to swallow chloroquine when they saw he was dying. Luckily, God saved my brother. My little brother was one year old, he was beaten for defecating on the bed. My mom left him when he was 9 months. The torture my siblings and I went through still lives with me. Justice must prevail for Davie!
