Hi! I can see that most of the bassinet is mesh, but is the area below the portion that folds down (for the bedside function) made of mesh? Wondering if it’s a suffocation hazard if baby somehow rolled against it.

Hi Taylor! That portion is not mesh but I don’t see any risk even for a newborn. I hope this helps!

Is there a way to take it apart to wash it? I’m looking into getting a gently used one but want to make sure I’ll be able to wash it

No you can spot clean the sides but there’s no way to machine wash the mesh. You can however wash the sheet that goes on the mattress pad.

Mine didn’t slant as long as each side was on the same height setting. A few times I adjusted them incorrectly so one side was higher.

Can you tell me how tall the bed of the bassinet is (where it should be flush against the bed) at the highest setting and the lowest setting?

Hi Alex! I definitely should’ve circled back for a product review after using it with my newborn. She is much older now (16 months) but I found it most stable on the lowest height setting and when anchored to the bed.

Is there a reason that they are loose and wabbly on the bottom legs. Doesn't seem like the legs are very sturdy!

In my experience the bassinet sways a bit with motion when not anchored to the bed. I’m not sure if this is intentional to the design but I never felt like it was unsafe (I sometimes used it as a natural rocking motion). You can try anchoring it to your bed for addition support. I hope this helps!

Do you think that it needs extra cushion for the pad?, I just assembled mine but I think it would be uncomfortable for the baby since it’s kind of hard/firm and thin. I’m first time mom so I’m not sure what to do lol

Hi! I agree that it’s quite firm and I was also worried about the same thing! But it turns out it’s intended that way for safety of the baby. Too soft or too plush isn’t recommended in the safe sleep guidelines for infants. While you can get a softer crib mattress, most bassinets I tested are similar in firmness. I hope this helps to ease your mind!

Yes it did! It’s a very thin light weight one but it’s included!

Is this good for 1 to 18 months old baby?

No it’s much to small for that. We just moved my 6 month old out of it as she is now rolling there isn’t enough space to roll. The weight limit is 20 lbs.

Not yet! Riley can’t roll belly to back yet. It’s common for them to roll in sleep once they master that skill, just be sure to stop swaddling at that point!

I just thought of this - if you think it’s the bassinet causing the roll (and not your baby just rolling on her own) check the height setting to make sure it’s even on both sides! Our son likes to mess with the dials on the sides 🤣
