ලොකු Coat එකක් ගන්න Angi උඩ පහල කරන්න පුලුවන් එකක්. එතකොට බබාට 8months විතර උනාම ඔයාලගේ Bed එකටම attach කරලා තියන්න පුලුවන්. ඒක ඔයාට ගොඩක් පහසු වෙයි දිගටම ඇදෙන් නැගිට නැගිට feed කරන්න ඕන වෙන්නේ නෑ එතකොට. Second hand cot උනත් හොද ඒවා තියෙනවා. ඕනි නම් mattress එක අලුතින් ගන්න පුලුවන්. ඒ නැතත් ඒවත් නරක නෑ. මොකද දිගටම Australia වල බබාලා nappies අදින නිසා සහ ගොඩක් වෙලාවට mattress protector එකකුත් දාලා තියෙන නිසා. Big W ,Target බලන්න CAR seats , pram හොද ඒවා තියෙනවා. ❤❤

Congratulations Anji.. I’m not sure if you have bought all the items already. If not watch out for sales between now and Boxing Day. I had my baby in March this year. I found best deals happening in first two weeks of December last year. You can get baby bunting to price beat by 5%and lay by your items. That’s when I bought my pram. Same goes with many other items. You can search for compact cots as well. I got a boori cot as it’s decent size, on wheels and can just fit through the doors. So can be wheeled. It was recommended from 0-3 yrs. And be aware that bedside bassinets do not have Australian safety standards.

Get a second hand cot from marketplace anji... i got a white wooden cot for 80$. It dis not look like a used one at all. We sri lankans co sleep sometimes so it really useless to spend on cots. But I would suggest to buy a high quality car seat as it is solely for bubs safety.

Hi Anji, I’m a new mom.. my advice is cots bassinet wage ewa aluth ma ewa gannepa .. aparade Wei mokada baba ehemama ewaye innaha 😂.. mamat market place eken honda condition ewa gatta for low cost .. so you can think about it as you said ..but car seat, mattress wage dewal aluth ewa ganna hygiene concerns nisa .. also wrapping the baby using a swaddle is not that easy as you tried with a dummy so don’t expect it as an easy task ( believe me )😅

Went 5 years back when looking at the baby swaddle part. Its better to buy a pram with 4 large wheels, they are very stable. When buying a cot, buy a one which you can rock, this will be really useful to put the baby to sleep. Baby bunting has lot of options as well which is budget friendly.

Congratulations 👍. My baby was due in Feb so I bought the pram car seat and cot all on the boxing day . And for my second bought all Eofy year. some time the council allowed to rent very Becoz they grow out of it soon

Akki keep an eye on baby buntings sales, they also have the same exhibition in early months of 2025, I also visited last year and had my baby this year. You can buy most stuff on marketplace. Recommend to buy new car seats if possible unless you are getting from someone you know. Other tip is if you plan to cosleep when baby is older don’t spend too much on the cot.

A cosleeper bassinet where one side comes off is also helpful so you can keep it next to your bed at night, in other times you can keep it in your living room or kitchen while you get things done
