Awww that is so sweet, my girls in the 80' it was Startrite shoes,never a bargain to be had ! my Grandson Rory is 5 now and my daughter started with Clarks expensive ones but soon realsed how quickly they grow out of them, fast ! Your son is adorable,ty for sharing his days out❤

Ahh just loved buying our sons first little shoes I still have them too. He ripped the toes out running along in his walker happy memories. Casper’s such a cutie & looked so smart in his new shows, that smile. Mummy so chuffed 🥰

Our kids are teenagers and still get school shoes at Clarks. Better get saving for school shoes though as they are expensive! Plus trainers for pe football boots etc!

This brought back memories, remember taking our eldest for his first pair, I still have them & our younger twos, love the ones you chose, very trendy, Casper looked so grown up in the supermarket trolley, where's the time gone? I remember him in his little moses basket the first time you introduced him, its been lovely watching your gorgeous little boy blossoming into a soon to be toddler, lovely video, Gaby, tfs. Xx

Absolutely brilliant! More shopping with Thumps videos, please. Good to know Clarks still measure children's feet. I can remember having mine measured (not at Thumps' age!) In those days they also had an x-ray type of machine in which I put my feet and my parents/grandparents could look into it and see how the shoes fitted.

Beautiful vlog Gaby, such a memorable moment getting the first shoe fitting, I remember going to Clarkes to get our now teenage daughters first shoes, she suffered from reflux and threw up all over the carpet, certainly memorable!! Used to have a nickname but my daughter is 49 years old her nickname was chicken noodle...Remind me my grandson.. actually had some pink shoes they were girly but it was okay...
