For ppl wondering the meaning behind the song: A woman was about to commit suicide. Baby hotline refers to the suicide line she called. Horder of quaters refers to how she enjoyed collecting coins. There ya go

Imagine listening to this song as someone who can't cry, just staring intensely or vibing to the song Or by chance wishing you were able to cry as horrible memories start coming back and the only thing you want to do is cry, but you can't because you used up your tears long ago after so much trauma

Theory: Jack stauber had a girlfriend that was suicidal, so his girlfriend called suicidal prevention hotline and they put her on hold, later on she killed herself so this is what i mean: baby hotline, please hold me close to you -means that he wants her back in your head shes a hoarder of quarters -means that she was homeless and loved quarters I contend that your drinking eye has never opened -means that she prob had a swelling eye or smth i insist somebody will die and i hate hoping -pretty self-explanatory, she killed herself Wishing that the pills made you cry and i hate coping -she was probably sick of depression and started eating pills, when she died jack wanted to do the same thing to himself but he "hates coping" someday i will go back outside and see her okay -means that she wants to see her homeless collecting quarters again i think this is a good theory
@bob.velseb8 ай бұрын
it was actually jack staubers wife, but its fr what happened baby hotline, *please hold* me close to you - *please hold* in your head shes a hoarder of quarters - she liked collecting pennies off the street i insist somebody will die and i hate moping - yep she killed herself someday i will go back outside and see her okay - he probably wanted to kill himself after that "(Hotline!) Hung up and put on hold" supports it too
