A little update of the comebacks after Deja Vu to give you more information: Dystopia: The Tree of Language (Scream's album) sold the double of albums than Deja Vu and then Dystopia: Lose Myself (BOCA) sold the double of albums than Scream's album. Scream was their first MV to hit 20 millions views and did it in 6 months, then Boca's MV did the same but in 3 week. So, shorly speaking, Dreamcatcher is doing better everytime and us, Insomnia, are gonna keep working on getting thier long deserved 1st win

The next questionable thing is that after The Show rigged the results for the Everglow win, 4 months later Everglow member Kim Si-hyeon became one of the hosts for The Show. So while Everglow the group shouldn't be blamed, I wouldn't exactly say the same about their company. Seems suspicious to me or a pretty big coincidence. The week after, The Show didn't award a win when Dreamcatcher stood another big chance. They stated it was because The Show was at a festival, but they had awards wins at a Festival before. Then recently with BOCA, Dreamcatcher's best chance to win didn't happen because The Show cancelled their episode due to COVID, or a least that's what they say since the issue didn't exist before or they week after when they then had a less of a chance. So, obviously I don't really trust The Show at all at this point. A eventually win seems to be sabotaged each time. I would love for DC to manage to get a win on any other shows because they're much more recognized anyway but much harder for smaller groups to get a win on..... and don't even get me started on DC not being invited to Soribada even though they ranked 4th above other invited groups.

Everglow got points removed in the past on other shows already because of confirmed botting of their fandom and once again shortly before the Deja Vu incident there were Chinese fans bragging and motivating others on Twitter to bot for Everglow. Their album sales are so low every time, yet the views of their videos are absolutely absurd and are more close to groups from the big 3. I don't know anything about the girls from Everglow and I don't blame them, but the company (which is apparently Chinese too) is shady as fuck if you ask me.

honestly i wouldnt be surprised if some company (most likely YG or Mnet) half blacklisted them bc of the mixnine lawsuit. Sm blacklisted JYJ, even now they still cant appear on TV, even tho theres a law protecting them from that stuff. of course DC can appear on tv but someone is still holding them back, its not just Yuehua that couldve had a hand in this bc they couldve won multiple times after as you said. Happyface made a statement about why they were suing YG and they basically outed them for extorting money from each participating company, they would all have to individually pay for everything like training/stage outfits even tho it was YG's show. they wanted to stand up to large companies picking on smaller companies, that made me realize they could have a hand in ruining DC's success

About the COVID excuse, tbh that's the only one I believed cuz around that time there was one COVID19 positive case detected from the SBS building so every activity from SBS's building had to be cancelled. But other than that, SBS just have something on DC that they tried so hard not to let our girls get their first trophy

the worst part about the The Show incident is that a few months later, another fandom spoke up against the scores of their fave and believed they had been snubbed and immediately The Show showed receipts that the score was correct they flat out ignored us although we were loud and they def saw us it should have been easy to show receipts that their scores were correct (unless there was fraudulent behaviour) it’s extremely suspicious

2020 Update - On the ride of their United States tour, Dreamcatcher cameback in february with Scream. Scream marked the start of a new trilogy for Dreamcatcher, finally anouncing the end of the nightmare series. It was also the title track of Dreamcatcher's first full album, long waited by their fans. While Scream's initial reception was lukewarm in Korea, the song blew the group even more internacionally. The song quickly broke mv view records and by the end of Scream's era, the Dreamcatcher channel subscribers grew from 200k to 600k subscribers. The song also manage to be nominated for a win on 3 music shows, a record for the group, who had only been nominated for wins on sbs's the Show. Tree of Language, the first full album broke the mark of 50k sales on Gaon, outperforming acts like Apink and Oh My Girl on the album sales departament, and it topped Itunes sales in multiple countrirs. Alongside the follow-up promotions of B-side Black and White, Tree of Language longevity starte do bring in more korean fans, while they are still a small portion of the fanbase, they have become more active as their size grows as well. As always, Dreamcatcher's sucess is mixed with a portion of bad luck. While Scream could have won 3 music shows, the comeback was released on the same week as the postpone Iz*One comeback(originally their comeback was planned for 2019's november, but due to produce scandals had to be delayed to february 20200). iz*One was a record breaking comeback and it swept all 3 wins. Not only that, Covid-19 happened with Handong on China, participating on Youth with You show. As a Wuhan born chinese person, Handong visa was blocked by korean immigration protection measures. She still hasnt comeback due to that, losing the Boca era comeback as well. As of september, korean has allowed back Wuhan visas, but it's speculated Handong has to refill for a visa permit and finish schedules activities in China she submited for as to not remain inactive. This takes us to Dreamcatcher's lose myself era - the boca era. Once again, the song keep breaking numbers and the album gaon sales reached a stunning 87k sales, it's entirely possible the album manage to reach 100k sales until the end of the year, a huge mark for any group as very few have managed to pull this numbers. But once again, first win drama continuous. Sbs's The Show, due to a second wave of covid-19 in Korea had to be cancelled on Dreamcatcher' comeback week, a week where while Dreamcatcher was not guaranteed to win, they were the favorites. As always, their road is a hard one, but they never stop to break the wall that tries to contain their growing sucess. I have a good feeling that next comeback, as OT7, Dreamcatcher will reach even higher heights.

Every time I see those scores, I literally cry because it's so unfair. And I'm not an emotional person in the slightest. Dreamcatcher are my ultimate group, not just from K-Pop, but any genre, any where. And the fact that they were robbed is honestly unforgivable. I love Everglow, but even some other Everglow fans were saying Deja Vu was the better song. In my personal opinion, the only reason she said "alleged" was because she didn't want to start a fan war (although, again, in my personal opinion, both groups have amazing understanding fanbases). Seeing as multiple people including non-fans have calculated the scores and the fact that SBS to this day has not released anything, it's probably more along the lines of fact than "alleged".

As an insomnia of quite a few years now, The Show thing really hurts my heart. Something not mentioned in the video is that the award show after the miscalculation was mysteriously cancelled too, removing our second shot entirely. And then we won the prevote but did not get nommed. Also It just so happens that even this time around with Boca, they cancelled the very episode where DC would have had high digital sales counted in their score, so they lost to Cravity on the second time because too much time had passed. Coincidence? Perhaps. But it genuinely does seem like The Show has something against them or their company.

5000 and 1000 are the max score you can get for those categories (streaming and live voting, respectively). the scores lower for the other two groups are relative to the highest score. for example if one group got only 1/10th the live votes, they would get 100 vs the 1000 for the highest group.

The cancellation concert in jakarta due to the ticket market didn't reach expectation. Indonesia has quite big insomnia base, but we are spread among islands and most of them are only teenagers aka student with limited pocket money and also school scedule so it's hard to gather them in one city to watch concert.

The way scoring works is the person with the most album sales, votes, etc. will get full points and then the other people’s scores will follow a ratio to see how many points they have in comparison to the top scorer. That’s kind of how it is. There are a lot more details, but it’s hard to explain everything.

Dreamcatcher already has a name in the industry, or as I would think I say. Definitely, they're the most unique group of all time. I want them to last longer and get multiple wins. since you got a little confused about the full 5000 and 1000 scores, it’s 100% correct maybe you’re just unfamiliar with how the scores work!! in each category, the artist who wins it automatically gets the maximum score, and the other opponents’ scores are calculated based on what they got, and that’s why it isn’t a solid number like dreamcatcher’s. meaning, dreamcatcher won 2 categories and therefore got 2 full scores of 5000 and 1000, digitals and live voting.

Idt Aaron understood how those voting categories operating.. Why so many fans and non insomnias initiative doing all these calculation..the voting involve MONEY.
