CITY SELECT 2 vs. CITY SELECT LUX
The City Select 2 is Baby Jogger’s newest stroller that grows with your family, replacing both the City Select and City Select Lux models.
While there won’t be a City Select Lux 2, the new stroller has two price points-a base model and an upgraded Eco Collection version that’s like a more luxurious Lux.
The City Select 2 has upgraded fabrics, including leatherette details, and it weighs 4 pounds less than the City Select Lux. But the Lux also has a few unique features you won’t find on the Select 2.

Love my City Select 2 Eco! So stylish and the lighter weight did it for me. I also wasn’t a fan of the hand brake, so the foot brake was great for me.

Upgrade on style-downgrade on functionality. The pop up doors for the second seat are gone, so is the double suspension and the fabric on the base model looks cheaper. Plus no bench capability. Glad I bought my lux

Hi there! Are you looking for the adapter to connect a second seat to the City Select LUX? If so, unfortunately, those were discontinued in 2021 and are no longer available. You may be able to find them through a third-party marketplace though or a baby gear consignment reseller.

You will need the City Select 2 second seat kit with City Select 2 second seat posts to turn the City Select 2 into a double, and similarly you'll need City Select LUX second seat posts to turn the City Select LUX into a double.
