First time mom. Been feeling my baby since 16 weeks💙now 23 weeks. He has such powerful movements sometimes it makes me jump lol I was so nervous and afraid before I could feel him daily. Now he lets me know he’s okay by being very active in the morning and late night. I get some movements in the evening but only a few. I am a month away from delivering and mine moves all the time starting at week 23. He takes periodic naps thru the day buy the rest of the time he's stretching and moving so much that it gets uncomfortable and even painful at times. He's found my siatic nerve somehow and I'm pretty sure he is kickboxing it lol. They keep telling me he's perfectly healthy and that an active baby is a healthy baby but sometimes it still scares me cuz its so much.

My daughter is due March 15th. She moves 15-20 times in an hour, multiple hours a day, and always sleeps when I'm moving. When I walk and hold my belly I can feel her body bouncing against my uterus. :) I love her so much.

Update: I came to a realization the relationship was toxic between me and the father and that we both took part in that and hurt one another. I’m going to get counselling for my past trauma that I have endured from when I was a young child and become a better version of myself for everyone (my baby, my family, my friends) I’m hoping to build a friendship with the father and be on good terms but a relationship is not in the cards for me right now. If he can’t handle a friendship that’s on him and not my responsibility but I hope my baby can be safe in his fathers care in the future and I will pray for myself and everyone I’ve hurt due to my past trauma. I hate how everyone says you become unhappy once you have a child. How can that be possible? I had to have an emergency c section at seven months pregnancy in December. I was diagnosed with Preeclempsia which affects most pregnant women. I can’t help but feel like this may be a little misleading. I just started to feel my baby kick but I definitely don’t feel her kick 10 times within 2 hours. To simply state that if you don’t feel baby move within a 2 hour period that you should contact your doctor can cause a lot of stress in a new mom-to-be. You don’t state anything regarding trimester, weeks, etc. to even validate when kicks should be monitored.

Every baby and pregnancy is so different , I am 9 months pregnant now and it has always been normal for hours and hours to go by without any movements from my baby through out the pregnancy. If I were to call my hospital every time my baby doesn't move every two-four hours it would be everyday.

I'm having a boy!! I'm 21 weeks pregnant and I can feel almost every little move he makes. Last night while lying in bed Dad felt him kick for the very first time!!!😭😁🥳. It was the sweetest thing to watch him get so excited for such a small but huge thing! We each had one child before started our relationship. I had a baby girl who passed away at 2 months old and he has a 6 year son (aka my Bonus Baby) so this will be our first together!! Dad so desperately wanted a girl so he was a tiny bit disappointed when we did our gender reveal. Oh well!! Lol. But we're both very excited to go on this journey together!!! I'm looking forward to more kicks and bumps from our Baby Boy!!

My baby doesn't necessarily kick much but she punches me for sure. Her head favors the right side of my body and around that area is where I feel the most movement. She'll kick sometimes, but she really likes to jab! I just got to 22 weeks today. I felt her first jab at 17-18 weeks.

"Less than 10 movements in 2 hours" --> I know every resource out there says this but the wording is a bit off here, this is supposed to be within a whole day! At any 2 hour period within a day (not every) if you don't feel 10 movements, might be worth checking with your provider. That's 10 movements per day within a single waking time. It's unlikely for a baby that sleeps 17 hours per day to kick 10 times every 2 hours. I'm 28 weeks and when I first read this I was scared because clearly my baby didn't move that much every 2 hours. Sometimes she slept through the whole day. So don't be afraid if your baby doesn't move every 2 hours, they are not supposed to!

Due July 22 with my first, a vaby boy! Started feeling distinct movement at 17-18 weeks! Felt like cute barage of pokes and light kicks. 23 weeks and Now they're very distinct constant movements, turns, etc. Definitely a surreal experience
